Imagine going to sleep with the sound of the ocean, waking up to the beautiful views then walking out your front door with your coffee in hand and feeling the soft sand in between your bare feet. It's absolute heaven and you won't want to go back home!
This newly built homes provides a relaxed and modern luxurious feel. You'll enjoy the very new and comfortable mattresses. This 2bedroom unit is the unit closest to the ground and has an open floor concept. It features a full-kitchen, full-bath, 1queen-size bed in one room, the other room has a twin over twin bunk bed. This beach front second floor unit (11B) has two parking spaces under the home (if you have two small car otherwise one under the home and the other around the corner. In addition, it includes outdoor dinning table with a large umbrella, outdoor shower for rinsing, and a propane weber grill. It has wall a/c and heating units also called split system units.
Its centrally and conveniently located with many family-oriented activities such as boating, fishing, kayaking, sand castle building and crabbing. Bring along your bikes and scooters to experience the breathtaking views of the Connecticut shore. You can take nice walks along the beach as well as visit beach front restaurant and bar with live music only 2 blocks away. You'll also enjoy beach store, ice cream shops all within walking distance.
For children, there is a carousal within walking distance, movies on the beach on weekend nights, and sand castle contests. Kayaking and boat rentals are nearby. Perfect for a summer getaway, the picturesque Old Colony Beach is a short distance from the historic Lyme Street, the Griswold Museum and Mystic Seaport, Casinos. and my favorite outlet shopping malls!

The view alone was amazing but the property was very nice. Close to the Coast Guard Academy and my Cadet had a great time unwinding. Only problem was queen size bed bowed into the middle. But really great place.

Had a great time on our vacation! The only drawback was the amount of stairs to get to the second floor, but it was anticipated, so not something that diminished our stay at all. The entire place was clean and the view was amazing. 10/10 would rent again.

Fresh Swept Beach

Modern… with a view to a kill. Windows from floor to ceiling creates a perfect beach scene. Sunset on your own private beach patio with a chef’s grill. The entire property was well designed and very clean.

Right on the beach. Couldn’t get closer. Beautiful view from living room and beach is quiet and pristine. Only downside is bedrooms and shower are very small, but I’d stay again!

Overall visit was great. Location and beach was perfect. The unit was very clean, but wished the bed pad had been refreshed from the previous person that used it. I wouldn't plan on using the grills as they are in very bad shape. We got one burner out of four to work. But would I go back? Yes!

Beautiful modern apartment directly on the beach We just loved sitting in the living room watching the waves come in It was refreshing to rent something so modern and clean. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed 15-20 mins from tons of things to do Great beach for walking There are things to do within walking distance as well My only critique was the bedrooms are a little tight and one side of the beds are against the wall so it a little tight for 1 of the people We would definitely rent here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to get away

The location was wonderful.

The place we stayed was about to be torn down, so not much work was happening to fix the units, and it was obvious. The owner was very nice but absent, and every renter in the front unit left very upset. We had a nice week at the beach, other tenants left feeling dismissed and disrespected. It was difficult to watch, but we were able to help a bit where we could.

I’m sorry you felt neglected. I’m not able to do in person check-ins with everyone. I did however call you on your arrival but didn’t hear back. I also met you three days later at the beach house when you expressed your concerns about the window screens. Regardless if the house was going to get remodeled my main concern is that you have a great vacation. So within 1hr of your complaint I had a crew sent to measure windows and purchased and installed new screens . I can only fix what people tell me. Next time don’t listen to gossip and call me yourself. I hope you have a better experience next time.

Confusing and stressful

Just before we were to arrive we received a book of all the items that would not be available in the rental. We needed to bring sheets, blankets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, kitchen towels, sponges, hand soap, trash bags and dish soap. We were also told to bring in the trash can and sweep up and take the trash out when we left. What a vacation we were in for, but once we arrived we found all the items in the rental after telling the Property Manager that we were traveling from out of state. It was a beautiful place on the beach, but could have lived without the stress beforehand.

This is a bring your own linens rental but I can provide linens for an extra fee in most cases upon request. I don’t advertise that option because its not my favorite task. I do provide 1 sponge, 1 roll of toilet paper ect as a courtesy to hold you over until you hit the grocery store. Cleaning is not necessary because the cleaning fee includes this. What's required is removing all items from refrigerator and taking trash out across the street if you rent for 1 week.
