Hao and the house are both excellent. He is really a helpful host. Before we checked in, he sent us messages to see if we have anything need help. When we tried to go to the Funhouse from Osaka, we rode on the wrong train and got lost. We tried to ask Hao for help, he immediately searched the useful information online and help us to solve the problem. Funhouse is a Japanese style house which is perfectly clean and beautiful. The two nights we spent there were just as we were at home. The second day were the Chinese New Year eve, Hao suggested to bring us to the spa (溫泉). However, we were in the place which is 30 min away from the house by car. Hao drove (with his little boy) to pick us up, returned to the funhouse to get some towels and went to the spa. It was really a wonderful experience to have a traditional spa. Thanks so much. This is definitely a good choice to stay in the funhouse with Hao as the host. One more thing is that, I brought my 4-year-old daughter with me. There were toys in the house and a lot of space for her to play around. Highly recommend especially you go with kids.

From 2017 opening, about 1,500 guest have stayed in Funhouse Katsurakawa, host is live nearby the Funhouse katsurakawa, so we can meet the various requirements of guest. Funhouse Katsurakawa is a good choice for for family and gounp(3-7pepole). We changed the new bed/aircodition/massage machine on 2019/10, and our housekeeper employee is all Japanese housewife, by the efforts of them, we have confidence to provide more cleaning,more beautiful, more safe accommodation for you.

10-15 minutes on foot from JR Katsuragawa Station
I can pick you up from Kyoto Station or Katsuragawa Station, but please book in advance, if I have no time to pick up and you have many luggage,take the taxi from west exit of JR kaatsuragawa station will be a good choice.
The property does not have a parking lot, but you can use the public parking for 500 yen/24 hours.

No.13 or No.78 bus, get off at kuzebashi Nishizume. It's very near to FUNHOUSE, about walk 5mins.

※KYOTO CITY BUS ONE-DAY PASS
Kyoto city bus has ONE-DAY PASS available for 500yen. Suggest to buy it in JR station or subway offices or tourist information centers.

【FUNHOUSE-Katsurakawa PARKING】
No parking in FUNHOUSE area. BUT there is metered parking in the vicinity(500yen/24hours).
