Villa Laguna is a gorgeous Gulf access waterfront residence, ideal for guests looking for a central location and comfort. This upscale villa is located in the prestigious 8 Lakes district just south of popular Cape Coral Parkway and a stone's throw from the boating community of Tarpon Point.

The main focus of the home is the magnificent panoramic waterfront views from the lanai area and rear of the property. The large electrically heated pool and spa area overlooks a stunning lake that is part of a chain leading to the Gulf of Mexico, known as 8 Lakes. The home has the unique feature of a double boat dock which means the waterfront decking area is probably one of the largest on the lake. Here guests can enjoy the sounds of the gently lapping lake whilst trying their luck at the locals' favorite pastime - fishing! Even the most novice of anglers should enjoy some success in these well-stocked waters. Or you can enjoy the additional seating area by the waters edge and enjoy a cool drink and watch the dolphins and the odd manatee swim by!

Once you step inside the home, guests will find everything they could need and every comfort catered for. On stepping through the double-door entrance, you are instantly struck by the superb waterfront view. The home is open plan in style and the Family Room is the central part of the residence. The Family Room and Kitchen area have large glass sliding doors and picture windows overlooking the pool, dock and lake. The Kitchen is upscale in style with granite worktops and tiled back splash, stainless steel wall oven and separate cook top with large french door refrigerator. The bedroom layout is split plan with Master Suite on one side of the home and the 2 guest bedrooms on the other side for the utmost in privacy.

The large and private screened pool deck features a large pool and spa with plenty of deck space for outdoor lounging or entertaining at the 6 seater outdoor dining table. There is also additional comfortable seating for 4 persons to enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine as the sun sets on another beautiful day in sunny Cape Coral.

Perfect getaway

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Villa Laguna! Our stay there was so peaceful and ideal. We enjoyed everyday we were there and were disappointed to have to leave!We're already discussing a return there next year as we enjoyed it so much.

Great in the heat!

It was 90+ every day but the ac worked fine. Pool was nice, views of the lake were beautiful and house was very clean. All beds were comfortable.

Super comfortable! Very easy process.

Pool and hit tub were great. We had everything we needed, house was clean. Management was very easy to reach and address a few small issues (light bulb, remote battery, etc.) immediately.

Lovely pool and spa

This is one of the nicest pools and spas we've had when staying in VRBO houses. The house needed a little help - better decorations, towels, pillows, bedspreads. I know a lot of VRBO homes do this, but toilet paper and paper towels are so cheap, can you leave a few more? Very good location, neighborhood, and view.

The villa is located in a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. The property at the lake is very nice. The very good equipped house is modern and in a top condition. There was nothing we missed. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning and sometimes you can see dolphins, too. Before we started our vacation we had a good support from Keely and the Check-in and -out was very easy. We can highly recommend this Villa and we definitely will come again.

Not What We Expected

We discovered some unfortunate things about the location/property after arrival. There is some kind of issue with chemical run off into the Lake, so fishing was pointless. The hot tub was difficult to use and get warm, the pool was too cold to use even though they said it was heated. Several lights were out, including all but one on the dock. The appliances were complicated, the beds weren't comfortable, and the house wasn't really clean. We have rented several properties in the area for vacation, but we will never stay here again.

Thank you David for your comments. We appreciate all feedback, whether positive or negative. If we may address a few points made in your review. We are not sure what you mean by a 'chemical run off' in the Lake. If you are referring to the red tide reported on the western Florida coastline back in the Summer, that only affected some parts of the Gulf shore (& not the lake) during the Summer months. It had dissipated well before you arrived in December so am a little confused about that comment. The hot tub has a simple to use hand held remote control with an on/off button & you can also control the pool heat from this remote. When you reported the pool felt a little cool, we attended the property the next day and discovered you had inadvertently switched off all the pool/spa heat function. That was why it was cold. Fortunately not an issue & an easy fix - we just switched it back on for you. We are also confused about the comment about the appliances being tricky to work. They are standard and commonly found GE type appliances so not sure what to say about that. It is a shame you never mentioned anything about cleaning standards during your stay or when we communicated about the pool heat question. We could have addressed your concerns if you had said something during your stay. We note you had to leave the home 2 days early because you had mislaid your wallet which subsequently meant you were not allowed to fly home due to not having suitable ID to board. Therefore you had to hire a car and drive back home. We do wonder if this rather unfortunate experience and end to your trip somewhat spoiled your stay with us.

NIce house....but:

The home was as listed. However, after living there awhile it was clear the home needs some TLC. The pantry should be cleaned out. Also filled with duplicate items (small appliances) that at are not needed. One is fine. Same with pots and pans. So many duplicates, hard to find what you need. Same with towels. Too many. Sort out the good from the bad and you will still have plenty of towels for both bathrooms. Kitchen drawers need cleaning out as well. Minor "fix it" projects not addressed prior to moving in. We just left them. Needed help with TV upon arrival and manager was great at fixing promptly. A very nice property with a beautiful view. Could be even better with these minor corrections. Thank you.

Ideal stay

The home and amenities were exactly what they advertised. Beautiful home, pool, and spa. Location was nestled in a nice community where it was apparent that people cared about their property. There were multiple locations within 30 minutes drive. Would go again and would definitely recommend it for family and friends.

Great Getaway

This home was a fantastic base to explore the area. Centrally located with easy access to everything. Communication with the property managers was excellent. Heated pool and jacuzzi made it feel like we were extending the summer season. Clean and tidy with all the furnishings that made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home! Just like the pictures if not better in person! It was the perfect location for us! We were able to spend the day in Sanibel and Ft Myers and the roads were not busy at any of the locations! (August). It was a great location for getting out to the beaches but yet coming back “home” to relax and enjoy the views. We had to contact the owners for 2 minor things and they were great at getting back with us! Biggest tip to help save a phone call is when using the shower you have to pull hard. We will definitely be recommending this place to all of our friends! You wont be disappointed
