Our recently renovated family friendly modern farmhouse with hot tub sits at the base of the Catskills overlooking 80 acres of farmland, and offers stunning mountain views. The peaceful setting and country quiet make this a perfect escape!
This 200-year old farmhouse sits at the base of the Catskills, overlooking 80 acres of farmland and its own spring-fed creek. Tastefully appointed with a mix of modern and vintage classics, you'll feel right at home. With four bedrooms (plus an attic with 2 sleeper sofas) and two baths, we can accommodate 2 families comfortably.
Have breakfast on the deck while bird watching. Lounge around in generously-sized living and dining rooms and warm up in front of the cast iron wood burning stove. Relax in the hot tub admiring the beautiful sunset over the mountains.
Enjoy dinner and cocktails while watching the sunset over the mountains and farmland. Sit by the creek and watch the trout swim by.
Take a snooze in the hammock. Run a bath and soak your cares away in a claw foot tub with a million dollar view of the Catskills.
It’s just 100 miles from New York City—about two hours by car. We are fully stocked for your stay.
Close to the towns of Saugerties and Woodstock, hiking trails, kayaking, fishing charters, swimming holes, antiquing and so much more. Also, we are just 7 miles from the Horse Shows in the Sun (HITS) Showground.
Maximum capacity is 6 adults and four children.

I live a busy city life with 2 young kids and love to get away to the mountains for the weekend. I work at a social justice philanthropy and my husband is an emergency doctor.
Why they chose this property
We have been renting this property from the previous owners for 4 years and purchased it from them recently. There is something magical and calming in the farmland and mountain views and the 200+ year old house has so much character!
