Camp Yorkshire is located in the beautiful town of Saugerties NY, just two hours from Manhattan. This completely private estate is located on 30 acres of land. It is perfect for those who want totally privacy and unparalleled relaxation from the stresses of everyday life. The home features a modern farmhouse décor with two bedrooms and two full baths with the option of sleeping more on the two full sized sofa beds. All linens and towels are provided for your stay. The downstairs is an open concept family area great for entertaining. Complete with a dining area with a large dining table with seating for eight, lounging zone with two large sofas, a 60” television with all the extras, and a newly refurbished kitchen. There are two decks; one for sunbathing complete with lounge chairs and another perfect for al fresco dining with a large expandable table and a new Charbroil grill. Out front there is a fire pit with generous seating on our Adirondack chairs great for enjoying time with your family or a glass of wine with a loved one. If you love to hike and explore the beautiful woods and see the nature of this area it is simply a few steps to our fabulous expansive woods. We are 13 minutes to Saugerties, 21 minutes to Woodstock, and 28 minutes to Hudson; each with numerus shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. If you are looking for a tranquil home with access to all the Catskill Region has to offer; look no further. Camp Yorkshire is the perfect destination.

Lovely quiet getaway

Perfect way to start the New Year

Our family stayed here over the New Year's weekend and it was the perfect getaway from Brooklyn. The place is very nice, warm and cozy. Our kids felt immediately at home. And the property was so expansive to hike and explore - it's like we had our own woods all to ourselves. Highly recommend!

A piece of solitude

My spouse and I had been in NYC to help our 20 year old daughter/student move back home for the summer. Big cities are not my thing but my wife and daughter love them. So, after a week in NYC we spent the weekend at Camp Yorkshire. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The house was beautiful and clean. The land was exquisite. I spent time walking, meditating, and just breathing in nature. What a wonderful place to spend some time. I highly recommend this property to anyone that needs a break from whatever craziness is in your life. Well done, guys.

Camp Yorkshire

We had a wonderful time at Camp Yorkshire. Our host, Matthew, was readily available for any questions and checked in periodically to make sure everything was going well. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed or wanted. The nature in the property itself was stunning and the setting was very tranquil and relaxing. I’m hoping Camp Yorkshire will be available the next time we’re visiting the area.

Perfect get-away

Stayed for a long weekend with our 1 year old. The house is beautiful - exactly as pictured. We found the house to be really well organized and comfortable with everything we needed. It’s in a beautiful and quiet location. The host, Matthew, was really easy to communicate with and easy going - even when we had to interrupt his Sunday with slight smoke alarm debacle! We plan to return again and again.

Great House and Location

We really enjoyed staying at this home. The location is perfect to visit nearby towns, Hudson, Kingston, Rhinebeck, and many interesting attractions. The living area of the house is spacious and kitchen is new and clean. Good selection of dishes, glasses, etc and a fully stocked spice cabinet. The two decks are nice for morning coffee and yoga. The couch is comfy, especially for lounging but it is a bit low if that could be a problem for you.

Perfect Private Retreat

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful home! It was extremely clean and the kitchen/laundry facilities were well organized. Things were exactly as advertised on VRBO and there were no surprises. The home is at the end of a long road surrounded by forest - there are neighbors but you can't see or hear them. It was also a good location for us to drive to visit a number of breweries and other activities in the area. We would definitely return given the opportunity!

Absolutely amazing property!

We have rented several houses in the Catskill area over the years. This one is by far the best of the best! Everything in the description is 100% accurate. Communication with the owner was excellent. We had a very peaceful and enjoyable time at Camp Yorkshire. I now see why this place is always booked! We will definitely look to stay here again the next time we need a Catskill get away! A Winter Wonderland

We were looking to be secluded with nature in a cozy modern home and this property checked off all the above. To our surprise we walked in on Black Friday and saw a beautiful Christmas tree by the entrance. The following day it snowed on a calm weather day. We walked through the woods and experienced absolute solitude. We had a magical experience.

Upstate Bliss

This property is every bit and even more charming and beautiful than the photographs show. The long driveway past a wildflower meadow and gorgeous woods (think pine smell but the real kind!) starts the vacation chill which is only enhanced by the light-bathed open floor plan of the main floor. The kitchen is a joy to cook in, as is the outdoor grill. Matthew, the host, was solicitous, and very responsive. He genuinely cares that his guests have an optimum stay which we did. For birders such as myself, the property is a treasure trove of our avian friends (pileated woodpecker, scarlet tanger. etc). I can't recommend Camp Yorkshire enough. This was our second time at the property and fingers crossed not our last.
