Welcome to The Coal Shack, a beautifully restored, dog-friendly harbor front studio ideally located in Downtown Boothbay Harbor. Just steps from whale watching tours, boat cruises, local shops, and waterfront dining, this cozy studio is the perfect coastal retreat for couples and small families exploring Midcoast Maine.
Whether you're planning a day trip to Monhegan Island, a lobster bake on Cabbage Island, or just want to soak in harbor views from your private deck, this vacation rental puts you at the center of it all.
Inside, the warm timber walls, Blue Granite countertops, and copper fixtures create a rustic-yet-modern charm. This studio apartment features a queen bed, a twin sleeper sofa, and sleeps up to 2 adults and 1 child comfortably.
Step through French doors onto your private mahogany deck, where you can enjoy morning coffee or evening wine while watching the boats go by.
Walk a few short steps to Red Cup Coffeeshop for your favorite morning beverage and fresh baked goods, or indulge in a delicious breakfast at Kelly's, located at the Footbridge.
After a day of adventure, unwind with your favorite show on the flat-screen TV, then relax in the river rock walk-in shower before sinking into the plush queen bed for a restful night.
Four-legged guests are more than welcome at The Coal Shack! A grassy park is located just outside your door, and dog-friendly hiking trails are only a short drive away.
