-One off street shared parking spot situated at the entrance of the apartment - shared with other rental in the building - first come first served space

-Chef's kitchen complete with high quality pots, pans & knives, Vitamix blender, eclectic cookbooks and both drip coffee and espresso machines

-In unit, washer and dryer as well as iron, ironing board and steamer



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the apartment during your stay. The main building entrance is on the back side of the building. Take one flight of stairs up before entering the 2nd floor apartment.



The Neighborhood:

Safely and conveniently located in the heart of trendy Lower Garden District you can enjoy the lively taverns, restaurants and quirky boutiques without traveling far. Exit the apartment, turn the corner and you are enjoying the stately mansions that line the neighborhood’s leafy streets, or head for a picnic at Coliseum Square Park. Steps away is the historic St. Charles Ave, where you can hop on the streetcar to take you to the French Quarter, Warehouse District, or Audubon Park & Zoo. My favorite Mexican restaurant, La Carreta, is right downstairs and my favorite local coffee shop Mojo is a quick 4-minute walk away!



Getting Around:

The area is safe to walk around and has many bustling restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops walking distance. For further adventures, there are transportation options. There are bicycle rentals a few blocks away. Take a stroll to St. Charles Ave. and you will find the historic streetcar that can take you from the French Quarter to Audubon Park. Taxis and ride shares, such as Uber and Lyft are also a great way to get around with low wait times. There is one parking spot that is shared with the other apartment along with free street parking.

Great location — walk to wonderful dining and shopping, the neighborhood is a perfect blend of quiet but lively. Very cute style and a well-outfitted apartment for your NOLA home away from home! Bring earplugs as there is a loud buzzing sound (probably fans or other machinery elsewhere in the building) that runs off and on all night.

Property was clean, which is important to me and communication with the host was good. The mattress was comfortable in the main bedroom; although it was just a mattress and box spring on the floor. The living room furniture is not comfortable for lounging at all (very hard furniture). We weren’t there much during the day, but it would have been nice to have a cozy place to sit in the evening. The bathroom sink had a very slow drain so could only be used for a quick hand wash. We mainly used the kitchen sink. The big reason we give it only 3 stars is something beyond the owners control—The walls are paper thin and unfortunately you can hear everything the neighbors are doing. There was a group staying next door that was up all night and we couldn’t get any sleep even though we knocked on the wall. I was hoping the 2nd night would be better, but they were up all night again. For this reason I would not stay there again.

Apartment was great; clean, spacious, well-appointed. Great location. Shower pressure was very weak, but overall great.Lower review score is because of the balcony and sound from neighbors. Balcony: Table was broken with pieces strewn about. It took over 9 hours for mgmt to reply, and two days and more emails before a replacement table was delivered. It was delivered dirty and no clean-up of broken pieces on balcony. Shade shown in photos was not available. On day three an umbrella was delivered for the new table. We had booked the unit in large part for enjoyment of the balcony, so we were frustrated. If it’s too difficult to coordinate purchase and delivery of a table and umbrella on day 1, mgmt might be stretched too thin.Neighbors: First 4 nights the renters next door were great - two couples with babies. We met downstairs and discussed quiet hours and everyone was happy. Final night were partiers who were so loud and obnoxious - all night long. We got zero sleep.Overall - mgmt did resolve table and umbrella but only after multiple emails, and the fact that no one swept up the broken table bits on the balcony, and didn’t wipe down the table they delivered (it was filthy), reflects a lack of care I consider to be reasonable expectation.
