This is a private house for your exclusive use with a private hot tub, gas grill and laundry. No additional rooms are rented. The only people you share anything with are the people you bring with you.

AWESOME Beach Vacation Amenities--Community Pool (open Memorial Day through Labor Day), Keyless Entry, Gas Grill, Bath Towels & Kitchen towels provided, Cornhole, Ladder Ball, Horse Shoes, Can Jam, Croquet, Bocce Balls, and Membership to the Oceanfront Village Beach Club with Large Life-guarded Community Pool, Kiddie Pool, Bar, Snack Bar, Tennis ! Also 18-Hole sound side Golf Links are nearby. The community pool and tennis are only 3 tenths of a mile away, or 4 condo buildings and 4 houses away (aerial view in pictures).

Shore Shack is a Fresh & Fun, Semi-Oceanfront house with Great OCEAN VIEW, located Very Close to the Beach (approx. 150 ft.). With No Roads to Cross to get to the Ocean (using the Private Neighborhood Beach Access) and a Community Pool, it's Great for Families with Children. Centrally-located in Nags Head. Very nearby are 8 or more Restaurants (including Outback Steak House, Sushi, Mexican, Pizza, Chinese) and all of the shops at the Outer Banks Mall!

Great house, it was clean, beautiful ocean views from the top deck with plenty of seating. Close walk to the beach, it is over a dune but not terribly hard and gets you a little exercise. Close to stores, attractions restaurants. We used the pool table a lot and all the card and board games.

This rental is wonderful! The host is friendly and responsive. The communication via message and info binder is clear and helpful. The house was clean, well stocked, and had multiple areas to relax. My favorite us the top floor with comfy chairs, deck, abd bar. The location is perfect with the beach just over the dune. Its also near many popular attractions, grocery, and outlet mall. This was our srcond rental here and hope to be back! Thank you Terry for a great family vacation stay!

Great little beach house! Perfect for what we needed. Plenty of supplies in kitchen and everything was super clean. Host Terry was great to deal with and kept in touch through the week. Hot tub was awesome and if it was warmer the tiki bar area would have been awesome to hang out in. Close to lots of restaurants, shopping and grocery store. Would definitely recommend!

What a great place to stay! Communication is excellent, beds were comfy, all rooms were clean. Hot tub was clean and worked. Beautiful view and we loved the upstairs space! Overall, the home was perfect! We had a wonderful time. Property owners were very nice and very easy to communicate with. The only thing that I would mention is the back screen door on the porch, with enough wind, the conch shell is not enough to keep the door closed. A suggestion would be get a lock for the door.Absolutely 100% would stay in this home again. The home was lovely, very well kept, and offered all amenities needed.

Everything about our stay was spot on. Our communication with our host, the hot tub, comfortable beds, ample parking, location to restaurants & food stores, the beach, friendly neighbors, and of course the birds & shells on the beach. We needed a break from our cold state of Maine and found it in Nags Head. The areas north and south on the outer banks was well worth the visit. The lighthouses, shops, eateries, the piers, Manteo where Andy Griffith lived out his later years, museums, aquarium, nature walks, fishing, the wild horses, the falling stars in the evening, and finally, all the comforts of home where we stayed was just perfect! I contacted host Terry to come back next year to see what we didn’t have time for and just know we have a great place to stay. We didn’t want to leave but you know you had to. Thanks for everything you did Host Terry to fulfill our too short vacation! See you soon!

something for everyone in the Outer Banks

I booked this place for a family group spanning three generations, and we all really loved it; it had plenty of room for everyone and was well stocked and centrally located in OBX. We also found the owners to be super friendly.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The proximity to the beach is a huge plus. It's just a short jaunt up and over a small dune. The house is well equipped with all the cooking accessories needed. We stayed here for a week in April. We found the Shore Shack clean and tidy. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The upper level was great for our kids who enjoyed everything it offered. It is in the perfect location, steps from the beach, short drive to shopping and restaurants, and centrally located to all that is OBX. We highly recommend the Shore Shack!

Right in the middle of everything OBX has to offer. Fully stocked kitchen (equipment wise) which is unusual and very much appreciated as we cooked in a lot. We had great times playing pool and the two chairs by door upstairs are perfectly positioned to watch the morning sunrise

Location of the house is fantastic. My family with two young children had no problem getting to the beach. The beach access by the house is private to the neighborhood so the beach area is relatively calm and less people than busy public access areas. House had everything stocked that was needed and no issues. Would book again!

Absolutely wonderful. Great location, just a walk over the dune to get to the beach. Pool is a two minute bike ride away and is a nice option. Very close to everything else around there. House has plenty of room, and is well stocked with anything you might need. Also like that there are little notes on light switches and around other commonly used things to give you information and directions.
