About the host
Hosted by Alec Gonzales

Hi! We’re Alec and Lynda Gonzales — both originally from the west side of Washington State, now happily rooted in Spokane. Over the years, we've worn many hats — parents, pastors, coaches, community builders — but no matter the role, one thing has remained constant: we care deeply about people and the spaces that hold them.
We spent about a decade in pastoral ministry, walking alongside individuals and families through everything from joy and celebration to grief and transition. Those years shaped us profoundly. We learned that the most sacred parts of life often happen around a table, on a front porch, or in the quiet in-between moments — not just in big events or perfect plans.
Our hosting journey began out of that same heart. We wanted to create a place where people could slow down, feel safe, and reconnect with what matters — whether that’s family, faith, clarity, or just a good night’s sleep.
To us, love isn’t just something you feel — it’s something you live into. It's about oneness, about closing the gaps between people, between your inner life and outer life, between where you are and where you hope to be. That’s what this home was designed to offer: a space that helps you feel a little more whole.
This house may not be luxurious, but it is full of heart. You’ll find a large backyard to stretch out in, two patios for conversation or coffee, and cozy rooms to rest and reset. It’s ideal for families, small groups, or anyone just needing a break.
So whether you're staying for a weekend or a while, know that this home was prepared with care. We’re truly honored to host you, and we hope your time here gives you space to breathe — and maybe even space to heal.
Warmly,
Alec & Lynda Gonzales
