About this property

Contemporary Cottage 5 min walk to major bike path

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Charming cottage in a great location. 10 minutes to all sides of Lincoln as we are centrally located in the city. Light, bright and airy. Private master bedroom off the back of the house and two bedrooms upstairs. Also has a large deck and front porch. ***NOTE*** allergy warning- this is a dog friendly house and cats have lived on the property in the past. Dogs are welcome for an additional pet fee and the house has a fenced in backyard.

**NOTE!** There is no bathroom upstairs where the 2 bedrooms are, one of the upstairs bedrooms has a full size bed and one has 2 twin beds. The main floor bedroom has a King bed. An air mattress could fit on the main floor.

While staying in the house you are welcome to catch up on laundry with the all in one washer and dryer or surf the internet.

If you want to bring Fido or are looking for either a fun-filled or chill fall night by the fire you are in luck because the property has a fenced in backyard complete with a fire pit.

While you are here feel free to use the fully functional kitchen complete with a toaster, stove top, oven, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker.

If you are looking for a gaming night or to give the children something to do while you watch a movie, the two 50 inch LED 4K UHD Smart TVs in the living room and King bedroom are equipped with all apps imaginable for your viewing and gaming pleasure!

****July/August gets into the 90s and 100s in Lincoln. The house has central air, the upstairs bedrooms have portable units, the house can get warm during the day. Extra fans/an air mattress is available.****

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Be sure to take all your belongings. If the item is still on the property, you will need to pay shipping costs. Even if someone is picking up the item, an extra fee will be charged.
Please put furniture back,games/children's toys and all their pieces back into their boxes/bags when finished playing with them.
Adjust thermostat back to 68 for heating, 71 for cooling.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Early check-ins and late check-outs may be accommodated if requested in advance. A $25 early check-in fee or late check-out fee may be applied.
One extra guest over the maximum is allowed but needs to have prior approval and if allowed there will be an extra guest fee applied.

Great location in Central Lincoln. Close to parks, bike path, shopping and food options. Lovely quiet neighborhood. We loved the fenced backyard for a small dog. What a lovely place to stay! Will definitely be back.

This little cottage was the perfect charming home that we needed during our trip to Lincoln. I loved sitting in the backyard with my coffee in the mornings. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Everything is perfect and we will definitely look at rebooking when we come back to visit again.

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The location was convenient and the beds were comfortable. My kids loved the bathtub. There were a couple of foxes in the neighborhood that we saw almost every evening which was a highlight for all of us. The upstairs bedrooms did get quite warm, so we appreciated the window unit and evaporative fan. The window unit did a great job cooling the one room. The evaporative fan did a decent enough job with ice added to the tank in the other.

We had a great stay at the cottage with our dogs. They even provided two sets of dogs bowls. The home is clean and thoughtfully decorated. The deck and fenced in yard was great for outdoor conversations and time spent with our family. We had a great time!

We LOVED our stay. It was exactly what we needed and the back yard was perfect for our dogs. At the time of our booking, we weren't sure what to expect for the back yard but it definitely exceeded expectations with the grill, deck and ample space for our dogs to run and play. The location was perfect for the bike trail and all that we wanted to do while we were in Lincoln. Our home is great but we have older appliances so the fridge, the dishwasher and the washer/dryer combo were major wins for me as well. We didn't need the upstairs but it was great to know we had the extra space if required. The beds were comfy and clean. My partner and I each had our own bathroom and we loved the decor, dinnerware (yay pottery!) and especially all the art on the walls. It was unique and not your standard short term rental decor; we noticed and we appreciate it! Many places just look like a TJ Maxx exploded in the house. No shade to TJ but how many 'live, laugh, love' plaques do you really need? We'll definitely book this cottage again on our next trip to Lincoln. Thanks!

I wanted to love this property; however, after settling in, I noticed that it was dirty and had a slight odor of cat urine. There was thick dust on the TV stand and dust bunnies under the bed, and crumbs under the couch cushions. The outside light to the backyard was not working, and there were ants in the kitchen. The dishwasher wouldn’t run and tripped the breaker each time we attempted to use it. Although the outside deck is very nice, the host scheduled tree maintenance for two consecutive days without prior notice. The yard was full of weeds. Most of these issues are easy fixes and would make the property very desirable.I rented this as a pet-friendly property, but realized I hadn’t selected the box indicating that I had a pet. The host sent a link to pay an additional 75, which I paid immediately.
