The Metro Station is at only 3 minutes walk from the apartment and the metro goes directly to the Santa Maria Novella train station in 7 minutes. Or if you choose to walk, it is only 15 to 20 minutes nice and easy walk along the Arno River with a stunning view of Florence.

There are metered parking spaces (about 12 euro for a day ticket; sunday free) in front of the building and the access to main highways are within 10 minutes drive.

Located by the Arno River (riverfront), this spacious apartment offers a wonderful view of 'Parco delle Cascine,' where most Florentines go every Tuesday for its open market featuring fresh fruits and flowers, local arts and crafts, among other beautiful things.

The apartment is at the first floor of an 1800's building. It's very tastefully decorated, fully-equipped, and all rooms are bright and sunny. It's very comfortable with two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds), one full bath and one half bath, fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need to cook a delicious Tuscan meal, living room with sofa bed ( sleeps 6 people confortably) and dining room. A cot is available with no extra cost.

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a friends and family special reunion, this apartment offers you an excellent value for money and quality.

This is for sure a very typical Florentine, non-touristy rush-rush area!! It is easy to see clothes ranging outside the buildings to dry, old ladies going to the local mart with their grocery baskets, and patient fishermen trying for luck by the Arno River during Sundays.

Loved staying "Oltrarno" for a more neighborhood experience. Still walkable to city center to see the sights. Location was easy to get to by city tram from Florence train station.

The apartment was as advertised. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms was convenient. Christina was very helpful and met us there. Location is on the river and a fairly short tram ride from main attractions. Good restaurants nearby.

Pleasant stay on the river

Riverfront location a pleasant 20mins walk to town. Equipped kitchen to enable self catering, lovely view of river and park. Cosy apartment-lovely and warm and good bedding. Unit needs a little TLC/maintenance-Some mould, peeling paint etc. Enjoyed our stay in Florence and quieter end of town.

Christina was a great host and very helpful. Apartment is located near the Tramvia which gives you access to the Duomo and the historic area. Or you can walk it as well. We are a family of 5 and the place worked well. We would recommend booking here to enjoy all the beauty that Florence has to offer!

Apartment as described. Old, but cozy, next to Arno river. It accommodated 6 people fine. The 2 bathrooms were covenient for so many people. Easy to come and go to Firenzcentrale by tram. There was a problem with the hot water but ghe host arranged for a technician. immediately. Suggestions for improvement: the ventilator in the bathroom needs cleaning and the doors needed some lubricant to stop the noise.

This place is great for Families of 4 -5. For many reasons. The owner is wonderful, she waited for us to arrive and walked us through the house and what to expect. She is very organized and is available if there are any issues. Each kid had their own bed and really loved having two available toliets. This is needed with large families. We also loved have AC available at night - we happened to be there during a hear wave. The location is amazing- Grociery store less than 3 minutes, the metro 4 minutes, 25 minute walk to Ponte Vecchico. Very easy walk and straight you can't get lost. Also we found many restaurants near by (great Pizza place 3 minutes, many restaurants with really good food and much cheaper than in the center. One place we recommend is the Trattoria Dell Orto. The food was amazing and cheap. One of the best places we ate at in Italy. Our family would stay at Christinas again. Thank you for having us.

Accueil décevant par une personne ne parlant pas un mot d'anglais et pressée de partir (notre train avait un 1/4 heure de retard). Propreté plus que limite, hotte aspirante pleine de graisse et poussière. Micro ondes à la limite du danger (trop sale) risque d'étincelles. Vaisselle à relaver avant utilisation. Pourquoi paie-t-on un supplément pour nettoyage ? Sinon emplacement correct pour accès Tramway.

Mezzoretta a piedi per andare in centro, ma costeggiando l'Arno è anche piacevole. Alcune cose potevano essere pulite o pulite meglio, per esempio gli elettrodomestici ( il microonde, l'aspiratore del gas e della cucina) le stoviglie abbiamo dovuto rilavarle. I letti sono piccoli, sono di altezza 180cm dovevo stare con le gambe molto piegate.

Clean and enjoyable with a view of the river

The owner was very helpful in arrangements for check-in, and the view of the river is quite pleasant after a long day in the city. It is not difficult to get around from here by bus, tram, and taxi. But it is a little ways from the bustle of piazzas and tourist attractions. Two bathrooms are a perk for a unit this size and the three of us had plenty of space. However, the beds are just as firm as mentioned in previous comments and quite old. There is street noise, but in Florence I'm not sure you can get away from that. There were also a few kitchen items to be desired, but overall we enjoyed our stay, made use of the washer, and had plenty of towels and blankets. I would recommend this cute flat.

Great flat in Florence

We had a great time in the Riverfront Flat. The location was away from the main historical center but was an easy walk along the river. The road was busy and noisy outside but the bedrooms were at the back and the noise wasn't a problem for sleeping. Christina met us when we arrived and was extremely helpful showing around the place and giving us advice for the area. She was always available before with to answer questions. The apartment was very clean and just as the pictures showed. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked several meals there. The gas on the stove went out several times which was a bit frustrating. There is a grocery store a short walk away and a nice little playground our boys enjoyed. Overall, a great stay.
