🏖 Welcome to "Lotts of Sun" - Your Beachfront Paradise! 🌅

Escape to the serene shores of Sunnyside/Laguna Beach, where the sugar-white sand and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico beckon you to relax and unwind in this classic beach bungalow. Built in 1960, our home is not fancy. No stainless steel appliances or marble countertops. Our retro beach cabin offers a cozy, comfortable retreat with the world's greatest backyard - the pristine beach right at your doorstep.

Whether it’s sipping the morning cup of coffee on the back porch while watching for passing dolphins, having a glass of wine while witnessing a gorgeous sunset or drifting off to sleep listening to the waves crash, we think you’ll agree that this is the perfect place to experience the world’s most beautiful beaches. We welcome you to enjoy our cozy beach cottage and bring back memories of a simpler, quieter PCB.

** We are installing a stock tank pool over the winter of 2025. Until then, we have the greatest pool (the gulf) right in our backyard!


Main House Features:

✨ The beachfront master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and a convenient half bath en-suite.
✨ The second bedroom is perfect for kids, featuring a twin over full bunk bed with a twin trundle.
✨ The main house bathroom may be petite, but don't worry; we have the world's best outdoor shower for your post-beach rinse!

Detached Carriage House:
✨ Nestled between the main house and the road, you'll find a separate guest cottage.
✨ Enjoy a restful night's sleep in the bedroom with a king-size bed.
✨ A full bathroom with a shower en-suite adds to your comfort.
✨ The laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer is also conveniently located here.

Plenty of Room for Everyone:
Our beachfront paradise accommodates four adults and four kids comfortably, with the option for two more adults or kids on the sofa bed. Please note that the bunk bed has a weight limit of 95 pounds. Rental rate is for up to four adults and four kids, or six adults and 2 kids. An Additional Person fee will be billed separately at $35/person per night..
With the separate carriage house, our place is perfect for two small families, grandparents or in-laws.

Relaxing House on the Beach

Our family had a wonderful time at this beach house. Everything was as promised and described. This area on the beach was quiet - even during spring break season. The walkway to the beach was close and the back deck gave great views of the beach and sunset. The main house and guest house were clean and provided everything we needed. We had to contact Marty with a question and he responded immediately with an answer. The house is close to the grocery store and within easy travel distance to local attractions. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for family getaway and we would definitely consider this for any future vacation plans.

A few of my friends and I booked this house for a week last year and it was PERFECT. The house is right on the beach, so it was convenient that we didn't have to pack a beach bag for a whole day. We were able to go out for just an hour or two at a time. The outside shower was my favorite part (it's hidden, so no creepers AND the home was the perfect distance from the night life. Far enough away from the crazies, but close enough if we wanted to go out. We will definitely rent here again!

Location, Location, Location.

The primary reason this charming and cozy beach house gets 5 stars from us is its location: right on the beach and near the west end of Panama City Beach -- away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Panama City Beach. The beach was also conducive to long walks and gorgeous sunsets. Moreover, at this time of the year there weren't that many people on the beach. And the weather cooperated! On top of all of that, our host -- Marty wasresponsive and very helpful. We highly recommend this beach house.

This house and location cant be beat! We had a party of 6, including 4 adults and 2 kids, and were very comfortable. The house has every thing you need to enjoy the beach and a laid back vacation. Marty is an outstanding host, making sure you have everything you need. Being able to walk out the back door right on the beach is the best. The outside shower is phenomenal, also. Enjoyed watching the purple martins do their thing every morning, too! Will definitely be back soon!

The view from the patio is amazing and you are just steps from the beach. The beach was quite and uncrowded. We had plenty of room for our large group and my dad enjoyed the privacy of the guest house. You are far enough away from the crowds and traffic for it to be relaxing but it's an easy drive to Pier Park and all the attractions. We love just hanging out on the beach. While we were there we saw 3 small sharks, several stingrays and a huge manatee!!! What a week!

We had a very relaxing time on our vacation.. The advertisement for the“worlds smallest shower”. ,would be correct, but the beautiful backyard and the view made that the smallest thing to be concerned about. The outside shower was definitely the way to go! The main room had plenty of room and seating for all of us. The kitchen was very nice..The beach house is probably one of the last of its kind.. all one level and no stairs. I would stay there again!

Quiet and Peaceful

We had a great time at this little cottage. Unfortunately, it was so hot and humid the week we were here, that we didn't really get out and enjoy the beach nearly as much as we had wanted. We did go down and walk along the shore at night, however. The house was very clean, but needs some updating of furniture (nothing that affected our stay.) There are only 2 things that weren't up to par, for us. 1.) There was not enough toilet paper available, for use. The guest bathroom didn't have any at all. 2.) Because it was so hot, the temperature never got below 72/73 in the house. We prefer it colder, especially when sleeping. However, we enjoyed our trip very much and would recommend this place to others! Can't wait til the day we get back down the Gulf!

Beautiful beach haven

We were looking for immediate access to a quiet stretch of white sand beach, away from crowds but near great dining and attractions. This property was a home run! The white sand beach is perfection. There were a few families and couples around. Once in a while college kids from the Christian retreat center came out but they are pretty quiet. We basically had our own private beach during our stay. The cottage itself is comfortable and peaceful and filled with sun all day long. The main living space is bright and cheery. Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean comfortable and functional. The guest house was fine for our teenager. We loved stretching our legs for 60 second walk to the house to refill our drinks then sprawling on the beach again. Any dining or store you could possibly want is within 10-15 minutes. We didn't cook in the kitchen so can't comment on that except that it was perfect for whipping up simple breakfasts and picnic lunches, and frozen cocktails. You can see the course of development along the beach and I assume this cottage and the others like it will eventually be replaced with three story multi unit construction. Nothing wrong with new construction but the beach will lose some history and character without perfect cozy places like this. We will treasure our stay here and if we are lucky maybe even get to visit again. A real treasure.

Great location but poorly maintained property !

This is an honest review based on the recent trip to this location. We booked this family trip for 9 nights but we ended up leavimg three days earlier because we could not stand the unpleasant property despite the beautiful view and location . Marty Bush the owner tried to accomodate us and refunded us partial for the three days but the house needs to be checked and updated properly for having a decent stay. For the money we paid we only ask for esentials that every human being needs as such: a comfortable matress and a decent shower. We could not sleep for several nights . Everything is from 1900 except the kitchen appliances and termostat. The smell in the front little house is terrible ( one room with a bathroom ) . The shower in the main house is very small as stated on VRBO but with broken drain cover with a hole in it. M bedroom matress has the edges very high and goes down in the middle which is imposible to sleep on. Doors locks are super old and squick at every single touch . In the master half bathroom the sink and toilet are NOT at the confort height and is a struggle for tall people.There are lots of things to say but I will stop here. We did not enjoy our stay and we will not recommand this place to anybody.

This stretch of beach has seen us grow, evolve, and thrive. It's witnessed the laughter of our children, the playfulness of our grandchildren, and the joyful babble of our great-grandkids. Generations of our family have been nurtured by the gentle embrace of these shores, and it's a legacy we hold dear.

While we certainly appreciate the allure of nearby 30A and the excitement of Pier Park with its restaurants, entertainment, and shopping, there's something profoundly comforting about the fact that our little piece of paradise has remained remarkably unchanged.
