Our Beautiful Amazing Grace Cottage is located on 5 acres in Carmine and only 8 minutes from all the action in Round Top. This wonderful cottage is surrounded by scenic views and tranquility. All of this you can enjoy while sitting on wrought iron chairs on the private front porch.
Amenities include a beautiful Queen Size bed dressed with fine linens, Smart TV and available wifi, Full sized kitchen and bathroom, all packaged up in an "old antique cottage" feel.
Enjoy the beautiful Texas artwork hanging on the walls and the sentimental antiques scattered throughout the cottage.

Adorable Amazing Grace

Just finished a fantastic stay at this perfect cottage. Beautiful decorated and cozy, with thoughtful touches in every detail. Check in was easy, everything in working order. Quiet and charming, a short 7 minute drive to round top and surrounded by nature. Beautiful trees and birds everywhere. We will be sure to stay here again!

Cute Romantic Cottage Getaway

Amazing Grace Cottage is a cute little place for a couple's getaway or romantic weekend. Just over a five minute drive from Round Top. Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough good things about Amazing Grace Cottage. It was the cherry on top of a wonderful weekend getaway to Round Top, Texas. The cottage sits on a beautiful piece of property and the place is just the sweetest inside and out. Our host greeted us when we arrived, showed us around the place and offered local suggestions for different dinner. I can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing stay at Amazing Grace.

Third time we’ve stayed here. Perfect for a weekend at Round Top. Far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds but close enough for a night on the town. And just the right size for two. The host couldn’t be nicer or more helpful.

This is a charming and quaint house with incredible views.

This was our second stay at Amazing Grace cottage and it was wonderful. The cottage is perfect for a weekend get-away but the best thing about it are the proprietors. Pam and Chuck are wonderful hosts and they really make us feel at home - down to the homemade blueberry chocolate-chip muffins! We’ll definitely be back again!

Always Great!

This was our 3rd time staying at the cottage. It is always great. The cottage is the perfect cozy relaxation spot. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. Pam is a great host and always makes us feel welcome!

Perfect in every way!

Yes, it's true that this lovely little cottage is clean, bright, charming, cozy, and comfortable -- but that's not why you should stay here. The real reason is the owners, Chuck & Pam Mapes, who will bend over backwards to make sure you are treated like family and have everything you need. They made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit this area!

Anniversary weekend at Round Top

This is the second time we have stayed at the Amazing Grace Cottage. And once again we were not disappointed. From being warmly greeted by Pam, the owner to the cozy cottage she carefully prepares for you, to the basket of goodies she leaves for us. We can not say enough at how wonderful and relaxing our stay was. We will definitely be staying there again, God willing. Thank You, Pam!!!

Amazing Cottage

We were in the area for a wedding at The Prairie by Rachel Ashwell, just outside of Round Top. We were lucky enough to find Pam and Chuck’s precious cottage in the country just minutes from downtown Round Top. It was perfect for the two of us, so comfortable, top notch bedding, well stocked kitchen, and close to everything. Pam and Chuck are wonderful hosts. Would rent again! Scot & Karn Hill

AMAZING HOST

After booking this B&B, Pam (Host) has been there for us to explain any issues we might think would come up. She answered all of our questions thoroughly. On the day of our stay, Pam texted us to see if we were clear on the driving directions. Upon arrival, she greeted us in a very warm and welcoming manner. She showed us the cottage and answered any questions we might have. We property is situated on 5 acres in the proximity of their home. We strongly recommend this cottage to anyone.

Mark and I really enjoyed our stay. Pam and Chuck were so friendly I felt like I was staying with family. The property is excellent and a great place to stay if you are visiting Round Top! The bed is super comfy and Pam has thought of everything. The little details show she really cares about your comfort. I enjoyed the magizines while curled up on the leather recliner with the extra soft throw while my husband purred away in that awesome bed! Having morning coffee on the front porch was delightful and that night the sky was black velvet with diamons for stars. The coyotte's did not disappoint and their song was beautiful. We'll be back! Thank you Pam and Chuck for making our 31st anniversary so awesome!

Amazing Grace Cottage is a very clean and comfortable house. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is very clean & spacious and the bed & linens are so comfortable & nice. It has a front porch with seating to enjoy the country setting & sunrise. And the hostess is the sweetest, most friendliest & accomodating hostess you could ask for! I truly enjoyed my stay & will be going back!!

This home was immaculate. Everything was tidy and clean and very warm and inviting. We felt quite at home here. The bed was comfy and we had everything we needed. Always Wonderful

I had a family emergency that cut my visit a bit short but I always enjoy my stay. Everything about the cottage is comfortable. Plenty of restaurants in town offer variety and a well equipped kitchen should you prefer to eat in. If you’re looking for relaxation and peaceful surroundings- this is the place!

Charming Comfortable Cottage

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Amazing Grace Cottage. The property is beautiful and peaceful (the yard is as neat as a golf course). We had everything we needed and were so comfortable & cozy. Pam went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She & Chuck are amazing hosts. A beautiful property with a gracious host

My daughter and I stayed three nights at this comfortable, beautifully decorated cottage. It was perfect for us. We were attending Antique Week in Round Top and this was just minutes away. We could take a break anytime we wanted. The property itself is in a serene setting. The cottage has all the amenities of home in the kitchen and bath, and the bed is very comfortable. I told our hostess, Pam, that my daughter and I are both gluten free. She put the most amazing GF treats in our room. I hope to stay here again! A++++++ property
