Direct Oceanfront, Upstairs South & NO PET FEE. The Crab Unit!

Angel Inn the Sand is a Beach front, Ocean Front Property in beautiful New Smyrna Beach, Florida, about 20 minutes south of Daytona Beach and 1 hour east, northeast of Orlando. Angel Inn the Sand offers a relaxing atmosphere for your next vacation, long weekend get-away, or seasonal stay. We have many returning guests so our calendar for Winter and Summer fills up about 8-12 months in advance for popular times!

We are now advertising each individual unit and you can book online via Home Away and VRBO! This allows for almost instant booking (24 hours) with up-to-date calendars and ease of payments. We still rent both the entire house and individual units. To view the entire house rental please refer to Home Away listing ##374073 for it's availability.

This listing is for the CRAB Unit located upstairs south. CRAB Unit is a 2 bedroom 2 bath that is very spacious @ 1250 sq. ft! Much larger than any condo you will find on the beach.

We offer a full kitchen stocked with basic sugar, spices, etc. Our dining area seats 4-6 people. The living room has a giant picture window facing the south with beautiful views and the entire living room opens up to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean with large sliding glass doors to our outdoor balcony which has comfortable seating and outdoor dining tables & chairs.

The bedrooms are set up as 1 king room with a detached bathroom and the second back bedroom has two queen size beds with an ensuite bathroom. We supply comfortable, soft linens and hotel quality towels, bath soap, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryers and irons.

One of the best amenities is that you can walk directly onto the beach from the back patio. We also provide a variety of beach chairs, beach toys and beach towels located in the shared laundry facility. The greatest amenity is the beach front location, with the world's most beautiful beach at your doorstep.
We also have some covered parking in our large parking lot.

Other amenities include flat screen TV’s with Direct TV and complimentary wireless internet.
We are walking distance to Flagler Avenue which is the most popular destination in New Smyrna with shops, restaurants, bars and boutiques located just .08 miles from our door. Rent bikes or golf carts to ride on the beach, golf, fish, surf lessons, we have it all! Just enjoy your stay!

Most of the year we offer a 3-night stay however end of May to mid-August we implement 7-night stay with Saturday to Saturday turnover.

Please note you must be 25 years or older to rent and stay at our house, proof of age may be required. We ask that you do not leave unattended children overnight at our property. We are a family owned and operated business.

Whether you want a relaxing weekend getaway or the perfect family reunion Angel Inn the Sand is the perfect location and one of the most affordable beach front properties in New Smyrna Beach!

We also offer up to 6-weeks stay & monthly rentals from January to April for those wanting the perfect get-away from the cold!

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Check out time is 11 am. On your checkout day please take all garbage to the cans by the street. Remove used sheets & pillow cases from the beds and place them in the tubs with all used towels.
Please leave bedding quilts and blankets on the bed. Please wash any dishes you may have used & make sure TV remotes are placed by each TV. Remember to check for personal belongings!
We do have a gratuity envelope for our housekeepers as they work hard to help make our Angel Inn clean and comfortable for your stay so don't forget about them! Turn AC to 76 & place keys in lockbox!

Great Little Getaway

My husband and I, along with our two dogs, stayed at this property for a little beach weekend. The location was amazing, right on the beach and directly next to an access. It was also walking/biking distance to great restaurants. The property itself was clean and easy to access. Would visit again!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place! Being able to just walk out directly on the beach was incredible! The other guests staying at the other units were not only very nice, but extremely knowledgeable about the area! One couple suggested a local restaurant that was an out of this world experience! We truly had a wonderful time. Our host was very responsive to any issue or concerns that we had. Highly appreciated and respectful!

Perfect Getaway!

We got lucky and booked this for a quick weekend getaway. It was perfect for our needs. Our dog was very welcome, and the deck was blocked off for him to be able to enjoy the perfect ocean view with us. Several great dog parks in the area as well as many local restaurants that welcomed him. We had medical equipment delivered the day before our arrival and the host took care of this for us. She also welcomed when we arrived as well as carried half of our luggage to the room for us. We could not have asked for better accommodations.

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views, right on the beach. Only negatives were there was no hot water so taking a cold shower was not so pleasant. We heard a dog barking a lot downstairs. Also there was a wedding party going on so there was a lot of people going in and out which made a relaxing getaway not so relaxing. They were partying on the beach but all these people were on the property off and on. Was a little disappointed and not being able to enjoy a golf cart for the day. They were all taken assuming for the wedding party. I understand first come first serve but seemed a little unfair for other guest. And lastly some of the blankets smelled that were on the couch. Luckily we brought our own. Otherwise place was clean and very accommodating. Views were breathing taking. Thank you

Great Beach Retreat

This property was everything the description described and more. We loved staying here! The house was clean and comfortable. The beds were fantastic. The location was perfect! The beach was ideal for families. The owners did a great job of adding a lot of nice touches to make it feel like home. It didn’t lack anything. They also did a great job with providing detailed information about the property to make our stay very enjoyable. Next time we come to Florida we would love to stay at this property again.

The pictures are true to life. The place was spacious, well supplied with the basics, and everything was super comfortable. I've stayed other places where it seemed all the furniture came second hand and was very uncomfortable. There was a reclining sofa, recliner, and 2 other chairs. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. It is gorgeously well kept. The owners always responded within an hour if not immediately to any questions we had. I would love to come back for another stay!

Huge and spotless apartment, super-accessible and kind owners

Dear Teri & Frank, I just wanted to say 'thank you' for our lovely mini-vacation. Your property is wonderful - Dad rated it as one of his favorite - much larger than we anticipated, spotless, and beachfront. I went w/my parents, who are a bit older now and so transporting a ton of things to the beach, staying out in the sun all day, etc., are not great options. The apartment has a big deck out front and the owners supply table w/umbrella and chairs, so we could sit outside whenever we wanted, especially since there was always a breeze. Teri & Frank clearly put a lot of thought and work into the property. I could go on about details, but that would be volumes, so a few examples - the well-insulated doors/windows really block out all sound and help keep the apartment cool. Other details we found really helpful - designated parking (and shaded!), a well-organized shed stocked with beach gear (chairs, etc.), and a quality outdoor spigot for rinsing sand that is leakproof and super-easy to turn off/on. The *only* drawback, IMO, is that the property is on the driving-permitted section of the beach, which is certainly not under the owners' control. Still, while we were there, people were very respectful - no speeding or cruising, cleaning up after themselves, etc. So I know we'd definitely go back and recommend the property to others (my parents left w/a handful of their business cards!). If you are lucky, Teri & Frank and their pups will be there, too. The owners were wonderful to us, and not only permitted my parents to check in instead of me, but were also looking out for their arrival to make sure all went smoothly. After checking w/us, they also 'shared' their sweet pups, who are great company. Thanks, again, and all the best to the four of you, Ana

The home was good but only had one tv in the living room. Considering that there is a cleaning fee, you are expected to remove all towels and linens on the last day and put away all dishes and cookware in the cabinets. The Microwave over the stove didn’t work, the lighting in the kitchen and living room is poor and the refrigerator has no handles. I like the area but needs a little attention.

We got married at Angel Inn the Sand just after it was purchased in 2013. We both have a love for the ocean and spend as much free time as we can near the water and at the house (when it's available)! We live in New Smyrna Beach and love to be part of the small business community!

Why they chose this property

The house itself is so unique and special....you will just have to come stay and see for yourself! The views are spectacular and we allow you to bring your pet family as well. We don't go anywhere without ours and would not expect you to either!
