This nicely maintained and decorated house from the 1860s has a wonder property with a creek, fire pit and wrap around porch. Inside is awesome! Lovely!!!
It was a gray location for everything . Hikes , the river , grocery store . It was secluded and nice.

We enjoyed our stay. Many extras! There were 2 negatives. Spiders & hot loft. One night we couldn’t use the loft, too hot for sleeping.
Beautiful scenery!

Hello, We are sorry to hear that a few issues impacted your stay! The owner is dedicated to the comfort of their guests, and they wish that you had reached out at any time so that they could have immediately assisted you. Now that they are aware of your concerns they have sent an exterminator to the property and are looking into how they can make the loft more comfortable for future travelers. Thank you for your review, and we hope to travel with you again soon. Best, the Evolve Team
We had a wonderful time at the "Hideaway!! The place had all of the things necessary for our stay. Even a large bowel of fresh eggs. Much nicer than a stay in a motel. Used the provided barbeque and charcoal for a nice dinner the last night.
Surprised at how good the cell service was (3 bars) at least with ATT. The WiFi was good until too many (of our group) got on. Then bandwidth went down (looks like its DSL). Used our login to use the Roku TV. (DirectTV Now and Pandora, again some WiFi buffering).
We loved sitting on the porch relaxing and the granddaughter loved the hammock by the creek. As Californians, grandchildren loved the fireflies. The only thing we didn't get was a good thunderstorm!
The Hampton Hideaway was a great place to stay. Very Clean!! Cute little place to stay. We really enjoyed the wrap around porch to sit and enjoy our morning coffee and enjoyed listening to the creek below. Would stay there again!!!
We launched out each day to explore the fall beauty in every direction. Great place to stay, plenty of space to enjoy both inside and outside on the property

A great place to relax and rejuvenate...
Oh my soul! This place exceeded our expectations! Not a fancy place, but a comfortable, relaxing, wonderful place to stay. We found a place that's close to family and has pretty much everything we needed. It was so nice to walk in and have everything necessary to cook a meal (minus the food, or course) and I can't say enough about the back porch and creek that runs through the back yard! We will definitely be going back!
We enjoyed our girls weekend. The home was very nice, and the creek was a bonus! We really loved the neighborhood dog that we called "Scout". He was the sweetest! Beautiful area!
This was a beautiful place! We loved the creek and the quiet neighborhood! There is a community dog and he was the best! I would have took him home if I could. The owner is super nice and was very prompt on answering when we had a question, very easy to work with!
We would definitely stay here again :)
We had the best time staying here. Owner communication was excellent. Cabin was so comfortable, felt like home. Porch was dreamy . We loved the creek and the fire pit . We will definitely stay here again !!!
Beautiful secluded property with several small towns nearby for shopping and ammenities. We loved the cool creek, the fire pits and laying out in hammocks. The owner was very sweet and the neighborhood puppy (we named him Chunk) was adorable! We would love to return!
The house was wonderful and better than expected. Clean and adorable. The owner was also great and friendly. Was also very helpful. No issues at all. Will stay here again and of course recommend highly.
Our kids loved playin the creek they spent most of their time there. By the time we left they where catching small fish and crawdads by hand!
The house was so cute, and the porch view is amazing! I loved drinking coffee on the front porch. The bedrooms are cozy and the beds are comfy. I sleep so good after a day of floating on the river. (Witch is only like 20-30 minutes away!!)
While there a stray kitten found its way up on the porch, we brought her home and now we have a little treasure that will always remind us of the amazing trip we had!!
We enjoyed our stay here! Our favorite place was sitting on the porch listening to the creek. The house had everything we needed and much more . Thanks for a nice place to stay ! The area up here is beautiful!
We spent 3 nights at the Hampton Hideaway while visiting family in the area. The owners have gone above & beyond to provide a place that is cozy but spacious at the same time. The decor of the house was charming, the wide porches inviting, the creek soothing. The weather was not great while we were there, so we look forward to returning soon when we can enjoy the fire pits & outdoor areas. Our family is very grateful that we have found such a beautiful place in this area that is large enough to accommodate us, priced reasonably , & with friendly owners. We loved it.

Nice creek area!
We recently stayed with our 3 kiddos (8,6,&2mo). The kids loved the creek even though we were told you could fish in it... it is too shallow for fish. We would recommend some mosquito spray while you are down there. We drove to Tyler Bend and enjoyed the Buffalo River two days. We also drove into Branson. The photographs on the website are not very accurate. The sofas and chair were all peeling and would flake off on you. We tried to cover the furniture with blankets. When we reckoned the sofas there was trash, dirt, and major dust under them. We just left them shut. There is a large fire station right on the other side of the creek also that is not pictured. The home is cooled via window units, but they were efficient and we stayed nice and cool. The cleanliness was very disappointing. We washed any dishes we needed to use because of the dried food on most of the dishes and utensils. Hopefully they will get better furniture and do a deep clean. The house would be so much fun and relaxing.
Manager's Response:
Anna, we're sorry to hear about the aspects of your stay that fell short. There are many places to fish within a few minutes drive from the home and we don't advertise that the nearby creek is good for fishing. We can confirm the homeowner has corrected the issue with the furniture peeling. Additionally, the home is thoroughly cleaning before each stay so we are surprised to hear your feedback about trash under the sofas and dirty kitchen supplies. We wish you would've reached out during your stay so we could've immediately addressed your concerns. Past guests have only had wonderful things to say about their stay and we are confident this home will continue to host satisfied guests! Best, the Evolve Team
We were supposed to go to the Grand Canyon but it started to fall apart a couple weeks before we left. We only live 2.5 hours from here in little rock and we were completely happy with the property. This place saved our vacation. Completely peaceful in the backyard with the layers of rock and creek flowing across the back of the property
We loved our stay here. It has a beautiful view from the back porch. It's an older home. Built in the 1800's. The creek out back with the fire pit was amazing. Christy was available to answer any questions I had and responded quickly, which is huge for me! Plenty enough room for a family of 8. We will definitely come back and stay again.
