This is a beautiful property! The location was far enough away for peace and quiet, but still close to all of the fun. The owners put a lot of effort into making the place a joy to stay. If you love birds and wildlife, this place is for you. We will definitely be returning.

I thoroughly enjoyed the deck - watching the sunrise and sunset, listening to so many different types of birds, and enjoying a break from people. The electric fireplace added extra ambiance during the February evenings. I had a wonderful stay!

I’ll start off with WOW. The house was absolutely perfect. It felt like home away from home. Cozy and comfortable. The pictures online is exactly what you get. We arrived on Friday and didn’t go anywhere until we checked out on Monday. That’s how relaxing the atmosphere was there. Melanie is the perfect host. Communication before and during our stay was great. Thanks for sharing your property and I hope your next guest will appreciate such a wonderful experience. Will definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning as well.

I was so impressed with this cute and cozy Waterfront getaway. It was very clean and had a wonderful view of the Highland Bayou. I got to fish on the deck with plenty of shade and at night I fished from the top deck and enjoyed watching the fish swimming in the green light. It was very peaceful and I felt safe especially knowing that I could park within a gate and within view of security cameras. The little house was super clean and there were so many wonderful extra touches that made my stay extremely comfortable. I hope to stay at this location again in the near future and I highly recommend it for individual traveling or for couples just looking for a nice private getaway. I greatly appreciate it all the contact between the host and I they were always readily available if I had questions.
