The property appears to be a new VRBO option. This is the downstairs “garden” feature of a larger upstairs house. LOTS of foot noise at all hours from above. The AC is not controlled on each floor, but is set by the upstairs guests. They wanted it cold, we were absolutely freezing several evenings. The upstairs guests were asked by the host to turn up the temp a bit. This did work for two nights, then we right back at the very cold situation ( quite disappointing). Hosts say that separate systems for each floor are in the future. Not enough kitchen prep equipment . Need mixing bowls, baking pans, oven cooking dishes ( like Corningware), oven pot holders, dish towels, more dinner and smaller plates, silverware, glasses, mugs. No extra garbage can liners in stock. The hosts were very good, answered questions well. If considering this property, ask about the HVAC situation as it may be improving. The location in Bedford was as expected - lots of single family houses, grocery and drug stores, etc. Easy access to tourist destinations (Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg, Wolfville area, downtown Halifax, airport). I would not consider this property again for my family, but it may suite yours.
