Welcome to 'Kingswood @ Tahoe,' our mountain home nestled in the Tahoe Basin. This home is located about 1 mile north of Kings Beach in the quiet Kingswood Estates. You will find this getaway welcoming from the moment you walk through the door as this accommodation is nicely appointed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for any gathering.

The Kings Beach area is an excellent vacation spot for any traveler. From the shallow sandy beaches on the lake to the festive Northstar village up the mountain, there are many places to explore.

perfect location for large groups

this house was the perfect size and location for our group. It was close to Kings Beach, had 2 kitchens, 4 bathrooms and slept 14!! I would highly book again

This home was perfect for our family, it was enough space for us to be together but separate if we wanted too. It was a cozy getaway. The one thing I can say is there is no A/C, which at first was an issue but given the hottest day the weekend we were there was 74, the A/C was not needed. Overall would definitely come again and the host was very attentive.

This property was perfect for our family of 14. Plenty of beds and two kitchens. It’s very close to all of the activities, grocery store and beaches in King City. Tahoe City and Incline Village aren’t far away. The only thing that was a minor struggle was the WiFi. This wasn’t the hosts fault by any means, it’s spotty throughout North Shore, which led to occasional periods of maybe 10-20 minutes with no service.

Amazing Home for a large family

This was the absolute PERFECT home. It had everything we needed for our large family. From the pool table to double kitchen, I have never enjoyed a home so much.

Perfect Snowy Getaway

We are a large family and always rent a cabin so we can spend a week together for the holidays. This has been the best cabin so far. Very spacious, clean, and a great location. The owner was easy to get ahold of and was very helpful throughout the week. Would definitely recommend!

We really liked this place. I didn’t realize it had two kitchens. Basically two living rooms. And more then enough bathrooms to go around. I wouldn’t mind using this place the next time I’m out there

Great location, easy host

My family and I had a great time at Kingswood and we really appreciated Nikki’s communication and friendliness, she even offered early check-in to help us beat holiday weekend traffic. The house was clean and well stocked for a rental. The loft room with six beds was perfect for our teenagers, right above the game room. We had a great family weekend.

Great location

Just be aware there is no air condition and low cars will have a hard time going into the drive way because of the steep incline, that it will scratch the bottom of your car. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay and the owner communicates well. The place provides mainly everything that you need and have two kitchen and refrigerator which is awesome.

Great house, great location

Great house! Plenty of room for our entire family, consisting of 11 people. Age-specific toys for my granddaughters that they loved playing with and no tchotchkes for them to get into and damage. We spent most mornings and evenings on the front deck, sandwiched around days filled with activities in the local area (hiking, boating, golfing, shopping, etc). We had an incredible week making life-long memories and the house was perfect for our needs. We all decided that we'd stay here again when we return to Tahoe!

Exceeded expectations!

We had an amazing time at this house. The pictures are accurate but until you actually walk in the house you can’t see how amazing the layout is. Neighborhood / neighbors quiet and friendly. We had 4 kids ages 10 and up 4 adults and never felt cramped in. Lots of space to spread out. Easy minutes drive to Kings beach. The house is very clean! Front and back patio perfect for hanging out eating playing card games etc. Check in / check out very easy. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful House

Great location, close to Kings Beach, supermarket all within 5 minute drive. Spacious home with 2 kitchens, 2 flat screen TVs, pool table. Cue ends sticks need repair. Kitchen well stocked with all the essentials and plenty of dishwear for 12 ppl. Frying pans are in poor condition and need replacing. Home is very clean, great grill. Owner very responsive.

This property was was perfect for our family vacation. We will definitely stay at this home again!

This property was perfect for our family 11. We had six adults and five teenagers and we never felt as if we were crowded or cramped in anyway. The cabin was quite spacious and the way that it was set up was perfect for a teenage boys who seemed to have their own studio apartment equipped with 8 beds, 1and 1/2 bathrooms ,their own refrigerator, coffee maker, and oven/microwave. The pool table was used quite often in the evenings by all of us. We adults had our own living room and kitchen as well as 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There were 5 televisions throughout the cabin that were equipped with cable and Apple TV as well as wi-if. The cabin was just a very short drive to downtown Kings Beach which had shopping, dining, golf, casinos and beach access. Definitely take a fifteen-twenty minute drive to Sand Harbor and get there early to claim a spot! It is worth the drive from the cabin! Beautiful beach! Thank you Nikki and Mark for allowing my family to stay in your wonderful home! We are already planning our trip for next year. We would love to stay here again! Dave

Almost.

This property is well located and has great bones. Unfortunately, it is poorly managed and that really detracted from our stay. With a little love and minor investment, it could be great. Kitchen was dirty, dishes, pots pans utencils all old/rusty/scratched/disorganized. The wifi went out, and there were no instructions on where to find the router to reset it. Both fireplaces lacked instructions, so required several text exchanges with the owner to get them operating. The fridge water filter was due for replacement and the water tasted off - better to drink from the tap. We ended up buying a frying pan, a spatula and our own dish soap since it was not provided. With some thoughtfulness this would be a great property. But we spent more of our vacation than we should have managing the deferred maintenance. There is an nice newer kitchenette, but unfortunately it is not stocked with any dishes, etc so mostly for show. There is a billiards table, but all 6 pool ques have broken tips, so effectively, there is not a billiards table.

We had such a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The home was incredibly spacious, which made it perfect for our family getaway. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and relax comfortably. The amenities were fantastic and thoughtfully provided — it truly felt like a home away from home. Everything was clean, well-organized, and exactly as described. We made some really sweet memories here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

Perfect Property

We had such a wonderful stay! Plenty of room for everyone—adults and kids! The house was clean and well stocked. The location was private and quiet, while still being close to town for us to pick up pizza and coffee. This was truly a perfect property for our trip. Thank you so much!

The vacation rental was the clean and perfect location, This house is perfect for 3-4 families or 5-6 couples! Plenty of beds and bathroom(3-4), 2 kitchen has plenty of dishes, glassware, cooking utensils Kids enjoy it a lot as it has lots of toys and Kids also did sliding at the back of Cottage The patio is great for early morning coffee and happy hour! Overall, The house was near perfect and our group agrees we should book for the trip next year.

Good set up for multiple families or a group of friends

Property is 5 min from the lake and in a nice neighborhood. House is large and a bit oddly configured but sleeps a lot of people: 2 king bedrooms (neither is a true master, not attached to a bath); 1 bedroom with 2 twins attached to a bathroom; and a loft with 3 sets of bunks upstairs. 1 bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, attached to a bathroom. The bathrooms are basic but clean and functional. The main kitchen is well equipped and it was nice having two ovens and two refrigerators. Beds were comfy. No A/C which usually isn’t an issue in Tahoe but this weekend was hot and it was 87 in the house. There are some ceiling fans and lots of sliders and windows, but no central house fan. We enjoyed our stay!

We fell in love with North Lake Tahoe the minute we put our toes in the water at Kings Beach. Our family loves the outdoors, especially playing on the beach and hiking in the mountains. We bought this home to provide us with an opportunity to create lasting memories with our family and friends.

Why they chose this property

The location of this property perfectly suits our family activities. Within one mile of the residence, we can swim, boat, kayak, hike, sled and snowmobile, plus we can be at the Northstar Village in less than 10 minutes. We love the quiet neighborhood in the mountain setting, but we also appreciate that the grocery store is just down the road.
