Douglas. Apologies. It was not our intention to disappoint you. However, our kitchen is not suitable to prepare group meals for a multitude of campers staying at another location. Our kitchen is for the guests of the home and you indicated there would be two, though the kitchen is suitable for 8. While you informed me you were there to support a large group of young campers, you didn't disclose that you would be preparing their meals in our kitchen. I only wish you had advised me of your struggles because we have a commercial kitchen located across the street that would have been perfect for your needs and I would have let you use this of course at no charge. We do EVERYTHING we can to meet the needs of our guests, even if they are beyond expectation. I also wish that you had informed us about the significant damage to our property, specifically the kitchen table which is beyond repair and needs to be replaced because of knife damage (possibly related to the meals you prepared for the large group). Nor you did not inform us of the damage to the shower. We have been offering vacation rentals for nearly 15 years and this will be the first time we have to make a damage claim unfortunately. I will try to overlook your unfair review as sour grapes. We will turn the other cheek and continue to offer the best of service to our guests, just as we offered to you and your undisclosed large group of campers.
