The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If you have more than what fits in the garage cans, please remover and take with you. (There is a trash/recycling center at 4796 US 340N open Mon - 7 am - 4 pm, Tues - Sat - 8 am - 5 pm Sun - Closed.)
Clean up any dog poop left by your dog if you brought one with you. Make sure hot tub is covered and secured and that grill and outdoor furniture are dry and covered.
Close all windows, lock doors and return the thermostat to 75. Ensure the fireplace is off. Return all furniture as you found it.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Our stay at this beautiful home in Luray was exceptional. We were in town for a wedding and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The property was exactly as pictured—tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and every detail of the home reflected great care and attention.Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with and remained communicative and accommodating from the time we booked until our departure. Her hospitality made the experience seamless and enjoyable. We are already discussing plans to return for another getaway and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

I can't say enough good things about this house. The owners were very accommodating and even had thoughtful touches like smore's kits, cold bottled water and k cups. They checked in on us several times to see if we needed anything to make our experience better. The views are even better than pictured and the hammock swings were so comfy that I napped in them. Try to get up for at least one sunrise in the backyard. The hot tub is very clean and well maintained. The beds were super comfy and the water pressure is fantastic! If you get the opportunity you need to go on skyline drive going north. It's 31 miles of breathtaking views until you reach the north exit, then its a 30 minute trip back to the house. I also suggest Shannendoah River Outfitters for tubing, canoeing or rafting. It takes 3 to 5 hours and is pure heaven. You can pack a picinic for the river and make a day of it. The guide says river is highest in spring. In town you will find charming restaurants and places for drinks and live music. This will be our go to vacation spot from here on out. I can't wait to bring my parents and our dog next time!

We bought our property because we found it difficult to find what we needed to accommodate our family-kids and dog-without having to lug a ton of gear. Our goal is to offer to others what we always looked for in a rental!

Why they chose this property

We visited the area many times and stayed in different parts of Luray and in surrounding towns. We fell in love with this area because it feels rural with mountain views but is 7 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from Walmart. So you get the peaceful feel of the country with the convenience of a city.
