This vintage 1965 ski chalet sits high on Tin Mountain above Jackson Village, offering some of the most breathtaking views in the Mount Washington Valley. With floor-to-ceiling windows and a large wraparound deck, you’ll enjoy sweeping panoramas of Mount Washington, the Presidential Range, and Jackson Village, perfect for morning coffee, sunset dinners, or simply taking in the scenery.
Our home is full of classic chalet charm, character, and a few quirks that come with a well-loved mountain home built in 1965. It’s clean, comfortable, and continually being improved with ongoing maintenance and renovation projects. If you’re looking for a sleek, ultra-modern space, our chalet may not be the right fit, but if you love authentic mountain character and unbeatable views, you’ll feel right at home here.
With three levels and bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor, the layout works well for families or groups traveling together, offering both shared spaces and privacy.
We’re conveniently located near Jackson Village, Story Land, North Conway, and several ski areas, making it easy to enjoy hiking, skiing, shopping, and local dining.

We had eight people in total for a ski weekend. There was plenty of space and everybody’s beds were super comfortable! We really enjoyed the fireplace in the mountain views were incredible! The owners were also very communicative, which is always a plus. I highly recommend.
Great place for the whole family to spread out. The views were amazing despite the cloudy air due to the Canada wildfires. Jackson is a cute little town!
Simply fantastic and those views…WOWThe host is very affable and attentive. She made the process of checking in and out easy and willingly answered any questions. The chalet itself is, lovely, very clean, and well maintained. We did not need to use any of the “just in case” extras we brought. My sisters I could not have asked for a more pleasant place stay.Thank you!
Warm, spacious, cozy house with amazing views in a great town. We had a wonderful time in the house, really enjoyed the magnificent views in the AM from the porch.
The property was amazing! Perfect in every way! We were all very comfortable and happy at Katie’s property. We had a really fun trip! Thanks Katie for being such a good host.
We had family visiting and wanted to share with them the beauty of the white mountains and this house did not disappoint! The views from the deck are spectacular and the dark clear nights for stargazing were just amazing! We adventured all day to our favorite spots and then spent the evenings cooking together and enjoying the sunset and night sky! The house was well appointed and big enough for three families to have enough space of their own on each floor. We will definitely be back!
The chalet was perfect for our family getaway!
Plenty of room to spend time together. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen. Lovely double sided fireplace which we very much enjoyed.
Beautiful views and convenient to all the area has to offer.
The property was great. We really enjoyed ourselves. Unbelievable views, large enough to house our whole family and also give us a privacy highly recommend.
Great location with an amazing view. Property owner is very responsive to any questions or issues that may come up. I have lived in NH and travelled nearly every road in Northern NH - this is one of the best views and locations for a house I have seen yet.
Loved the property. The views were awesome. Met the owners who came to shovel the driveway. Accommodation were great we had plenty of room. Linens and towels were the best I have ever had in any Accommodation up North. Would definitely go back
Our stay was perfection. All the images were incredibly accurate, knew exactly what to expect. Katie was amazingly attentive, available whenever we needed assistance. Highly recommend
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Katie was an amazing host with excellent communication throughout the stay. The views from the deck are gorgeous. A perfect place for morning coffee or an afternoon book. Everything was clean and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. We would absolutely stay at this property again.
Location is convenient to many area attractions.
Had a great week, house was just as described, amazing views and perfect location. Katie and Ian were great hosts, quick to reply to our questions and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed (via text, respecting our privacy)
Went with friends and our dog. The house was spotless, stocked with everything you need. Amazing views! And Owner was also amazing. Great communication
Our family had a wonderful time! The house is adorable and cozy! The view was spectacular! We spent our mornings and early evenings out on the deck. We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets! The beds were very comfy and the home had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning!
Everything was even more than we expected! The house is gorgeous and none of the eight of us will forget the stunning view of Mount Washington in the morning. Katie was extremely responsive answering all of my questions, including phone numbers for veterinarians in case my in-laws elderly dog was taken ill. I can't wait to go back and hope to run a quilt retreat there in next year or so. We all want to return to this wonderful place and make more warm memories.

About the host
Hosted by Katie
We both grew up coming to this beautiful area. In 2010 we purchased a vacation home across from Black Mt. We found that we were spending more time in Jackson than our other home. We were so sad every time we had to leave. In 2018 our son was nearing grade school. We decided to take the leap and move to Jackson permanently. Our son attends the Jackson Grammar school and is on the ski team. We love Jackson and love sharing our community with our guests. We're always available to our guests to share area recommendations, deliver a cup of sugar, help shovel off cars, basically anything you need to enhance your stay!
Why they chose this property
We also love the way the house takes you back in time. Imagine the groovy times the prior owners had skiing Tyrol Mountain and returning to have cocktails by the fire. When we renovated the kitchen it has a build in blender!
What makes this property unique
The view is breathtaking. Even though we are in the house almost weekly to tend to projects, the view still knocks our socks off.
