In town to celebrate the holiday with local family. Home was in same neighborhood as family. Was perfect for our needs.

Lovely spacious home that was in good repair. However, there were several issues with the preparation for guests. 1. The coffee pot had moldy grounds in the filter. 2. There was no bulb in the basement lamp and we had to purchase a bulb. 3. There were no towels in the main floor guest room and we had to buy towels for that couple to shower. 4. There was no bath soap (only liquid hand soap at 1 sink) in any of the bathrooms and we had to buy soap for the showers. 5. There were only 5 coffee cups for the 8 adults in the house. I had to serve coffee in shifts and wash cups so everyone could have a cup of coffee.

For being what I consider a duplex the home was very large and accommodated 8 of us and 2 dogs with no problems. The place was very clean and well maintained. The bedrooms were all decent sizes and the bathrooms very large. The only oddity is there are no doors in the basement so the bathroom is open to the bedroom - one family occupied the basement so not as weird as it could have been but there was no pooping in privacy (could also be problematic when lights are turned on during a midnight bathroom run). Perhaps a nice hanging curtain would provide enough separation. All in all, all parties of my family who were there for a wedding were very pleased and, should we ever need to book something down that way again, we would not hesitate. The hosts were very responsive and got back to me in what I considered to be a very timely manner. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
