So relaxing

We so enjoyed our stay! The view was incredible from my 89 year old Mom to my 13 y/o great niece we all were comfortable and found plenty to do. It was a great get away for us, will definitely return soon.

Wonderful ocean views

Great property and location. Everything clean, great beds and many restaurants within walking distance. Beach access is close and the oceanfront views are amazing.

Three Day Weekend Getaway

Being on the top floor so close to the water provided great views. The location was simply wonderful - it is so close to the beach and restaurants. Tybee Island has developed nicely since I was last there. Much to do and see without seeming like a tourist trap. Very laid-back vibe.

Excellent ocean front condo

We had the absolute best time! Loved sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean! The condo was just across the parking lot from the beach as promised! It was lovely and we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Was really accessible for my elderly father who traveled with us. Thank you for sharing your property with us, I hope we get to visit again!

Nice but needs some TLC

Although there’s no crime, that I know of, on the island and even though we locked the back door all three of the sliding glass doors were all broken and didn’t realize the three was another door and another set of steps to the outside front of the condo, that door was so rusted it wouldn’t or couldn’t lock either.. We were safe it was just unnerving. Views were great, we loved beach being able to have a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise! We had a awesome time.

Great visit, great views

The property could not have been better situated to enjoy the views of the sunrise and hearing the waves crash. The stove, microwave and the other appliances were in great order. AC cooled and the heater heated. All of this made it a great trip.

Views on 1705 Strand

Great views clean enough great set up, they just need to replace that nasty dirty carpet. What a turnoff! Some painting would be nice too. Other than that great place!!

Pictures in listing not what you get. Place is old, sparse, and filthy..

What you pay for here is the view. That is the only positive that I can tell you. The carpet in two of the bedrooms have huge filthy spots. There was long hair on the tile floors. The dining room chairs have cream upholstered material that is stained on each one. The sheets on two of the beds were stained. The vinyl couch cushions have rips in them. There are no area rugs as pictured. The living room chairs shown in pics are not what is there. Theses are apparently outdated pics, or are from another condo. Like I said the only positive is the view. That is what you pay for. Not getting anything else! I wish I could post the pics that I have of the place! I have stayed at Tybee for 50 years. I have never gone through VRBO, which was rented through Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals. I will not use them again.

Perfect View for a Long Weekend

The location and view could not be better. The property was clean and fairly well appointed. We had one issue with a bathtub drain and it was addressed almost immediately after we called.

Amazing beach view!

This property was as advertised with great views of the beach and a large deck with plenty of seating. The condo was clean and had everything we expected. The location is great with restaurants, shopping and the pier within walking distance.

Relaxing!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Pelican Point Condo. The location is perfect, close to beach access and all that South Beach has to offer. The balcony is spacious with beautiful views of the sunrise. The condo is spacious and has all of the basic needs. We definitely will return!

Beds are so stiff feels like sleeping on a flat piece of shale rock. Only downside!! Experience was great, awesome views, great location, elevator worked!! Just overall great experience just bring something with a cushion for the beds!!
