The property is nestled in the woods, which is lovely. The cabin itself is quite nice, too.

The Creek Cabin was an incredible weekend getaway. It is secluded in the woods, offering privacy, and features all the amenities you will need. My wife and I stayed for our anniversary weekend, and it was a great escape in the quiet outdoors that was very relaxing.

A charming, secluded cabin just minutes from the adorable Glen Rose downtown and its boutique shops. The space is furnished with comfort and practicality in mind, and the loft bedroom is an absolute favorite. Everything is stocked so thoughtfully—you’ll find every little item you could possibly need. A perfect, cozy getaway.

This was our second time stay at Creek Cabin and we enjoyed our stay both times. The cabin is cozy and comfortable with everything you need and nothing you don't. It' very peaceful and quiet. A perfect romantic hideaway to relax and unplug. We are already looking forward to coming back again.

Great place. In the middle of nowhere, which is what we wanted. Close enough to GR but far enough to not hear anything other than the trees.

Great cozy little cabin. very clean and updated. location was off by itself in the woods, very private and conducive to being able to get off grid for a few days and relax.Cabin had great little touches that improved the stay, including clear directions on how to use different equipment, all light switches clearly labeled, multiple throw blankets provided, indoor and outdoor towels, fire pit and outdoor area clean and inviting to use, stocked first aid kit and beyond.

Was a great getaway for my spouse and I. Had some issues with the incinerator toilet but owners did eventually fix it while we were at a local state park which was nice. No wifi or service so I would recommend bringing something with movies downloaded on it. Overall a good weekend to unplug.

Very private and peaceful cabin tucked away deep in the woods. A perfect place for a quiet, cozy, romantic weekend. This cabin has everything you need and nothing you dont. Bring some books, board games and puzzles and unplug from the world. Beautiful property with lots of trees and a dry creek to explore.

Great place to stay at this cabin! It was definitely quiet and secluded. We spent three days in the area to go to Fossil Rim, Dinosaur World and Dinosaur Valley National Park. We enjoyed, what we called "unplugging" for a couple of days. We had poor cell service until we got closer to the main road, so we couldn't screen mirror to stream anything. We saw that there was a t.v. so we thought maybe there was a way to watch it. Wifi access or maybe a dvd player with some family friendly movies or say in the description that you can bring your own Dvd player, dvd's or portable wifi. Our 8 year old liked exploring around the creek and we all enjoyed the great selection of games! The second morning our kiddo was outside and we met the neighborhood greeter, a dog named Jett. We checked his collar and texted his mom Christi to ask his name. He is the sweetest dog! He played fetch with us and loved getting pets! He visited us a couple of times. The bed was pretty comfortable, the loft area is nice and spacious. The bathroom was nice, spacious shower. We're used to a higher pressure shower head, but not an issue. We initially needed a little tutorial on the incinerator toilet but once we figured that out, no problems. Our host was responsive when we had any questions, which is always nice. We spent time around downtown Glen Rose. We went to several food and dessert places around town and also Grumps burgers, they were all delicious! We really enjoyed our stay!

Overall a very pleasant stay. The house was clean, quiet, and met our needs. It looked just like the pictures online. Small but comfortable. Just know the bedroom is in the loft and the bathroom is downstairs. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch and listening to the birds after a day of hiking at Dinosaur Valley or Cleburne State Parks. Or shopping in town or up in Granbury. There is no WiFi which we knew ahead of time. The hosts were wonderful about responding back to us in a timely manner with questions. And went above and beyond to make things right when there was a problem with the toilet. Everyone in every shop we visited were super friendly. We enjoyed Baked Bread & Pastry for breakfast, Grumps for burgers and Mama Mia’s Mexican restaurant. Be aware that a majority of restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesday’s! We also liked Feast, Front Porch Designs and Cheerful Heart Gifts for gifts.

The house was very cute. The location is off the beaten path - making it a fun place to unwind. The dinosaur Valley State Park did not disappoint - nice trails and the tracks are clear to see at spot 5.
