This absolutely beautiful and spacious condo was completed in June 2008 and Remodeled in Feb 2020 and is located on the River in the heart of downtown Estes Park. Don't try to squeeze your family into 600 or 700 SQ FT. This quiet building has only a few residences with businesses below. New hickory floor, new sectional couch and decor in Feb 2020. Brand new mattress in master as of October 2019. There is a coffeehouse, an art gallery, an antique store and others just downstairs while there are several restaurants and additional shopping all within walking distance. The visitor center with FREE shuttles to RMNP is a short walk. The shuttle bus will allow you to avoid the hassles of trying to find a place to park. You will also enjoy easy access to Lake Estes, bike trails and shopping also all within easy walking distance which means after you place the town provided parking pass in your car you can just leave it sit for several days if you wish. Condo has wonderful views of the Rocky Mountains and the deck overlooks the Big Thompson river below. At 1400 Sq Ft you wont be squeezed in like in so many of the other Estes Park condo or cabin properties. Get more for your money! You can fish, bike, or run the trails literally right outside the door. All new comfortable furniture, fireplace. high definition 42' flat screen TV, Air Conditioning and in unit laundry make relaxing in the condo easy after a day of exploring the Mountains. This is THE NICEST condo in downtown Estes Park. You will love staying here but don't take my word on that read the reviews. If staying cool is important you will find that there are not many units in Estes with A/C and while its not used for much of the year, between June and early Sept it is appreciated.

PARKING: We buy a parking pass for you to place on your windshield so you can park for free immediately across the street. The town has recently implemented paid parking in downtown area which makes access to spots even better. Others pay but you won't. If you arrive before 3pm on check in day and it's a weekend in high season you may need to wait until after 3pm to find a spot. That literally happened to one guest in 2021 as far as I know. Loading zone in front of building makes packing and unpacking even easier.

If safety features are important this is the spot for you. Condo features a fire extinguisher, CO2 /smoke detectors and a sprinkler system in unit and hallway in case of an emergency.

Absolutely the best location. We mostly walked or took the trolley to the downtown and nearby events. The place was beautiful and we felt badly that we didn’t spend much time inside, so we sat on the deck for an hour one afternoon to enjoy the River. It was perfect!

Base for Rocky Mountain National Park Trip

Our loft was exactly as described. It was clean, spacious and furnished nicely. The location was superb and within walking distance of stores and restaurants. The view of the river off the balcony was very relaxing. We even saw elk on the river walk. Would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely apartment in great location

We have just spent 3 very enjoyable nights here. The apartment is spacious and clean. The seating area is very comfortable. Although in the centre of town it is quiet and peaceful. Good parking options and easy to leave the car and walk into town. The kitchen is well stocked, good laundry room, spacious bathroom. Host is easy to communicate with and very helpful. Highly recommended.

This is our second time staying at this location. I will stay here every time it's available. Right ok Main Street over Starbucks and close to restaurants and shops. Minutes from RMNP. Huge space for your family and room to cook if you want!

Ducky Derby

We came to Estes for the Ducky Derby. This location was PERFECT to walk pretty much anywhere. The balcony was overlooking the river and several times a day we could see the Elk grazing across the river. It became my kids’ favorite thing to do in the morning and night.

Worth the stay!

We visit Estes Park every year and we enjoy the condos along the river. Once we park you are close to many restaurants and shopping. All in walking distance. This condo was one of our favorites with a window view of the mountains and river front. We arrived in Estes one day early and Andy was able to work us in early at the last minute. This was so appreciated. We are planning our next trip and this condo will be our place to stay.

Great place to stay, highly recommended!

This was our first time using VRBO and we were all very happy. The place was clean and well kept. Has all the accommodations of home. We had plenty of room for our family. Normally, we would stay in a hotel room or purchase two hotel rooms.. I’m so glad we rented this place, everyone was very pleased.. So much room, not being on top of one another and you can’t beat the price. It would’ve cost same or actually more if we stayed at a hotel room. It was such an easy process and stress free, which is always a plus. Highly recommended! Thank You Andy and Jennie!

Awesome Loft

Wow what a beautiful loft. I dont know what it was like before but the new wood floors are so gorgeous. The unit has abundant natural light, rock fireplace, an awesome kitchen, lots of room, a huge bathroom, a great deck, is ultra clean, modern and very very comfortable. I could go on and on. We loved our stay and cant wait to come back. The fireplace was a must as we came in winter but cant wait to enjoy the deck over the river on a summer visit. The building itself is quiet and clean and location in the heart of everything is a perfect combo of close to everything, including the riverwalk, while still being quiet and relaxing. Oerfectbin so many ways. Love love love it!

Awesome and Perfect stay!!!

We arrived for a weekend trip to Estes. All we can say is 'WOW'. The pictures online do not do justice - the unit was extremely clean, beautiful, and well-stocked. Having the refrigerator with filtered water was great as we did a lot of hiking and could refill our packs with no problem. The microwave was perfect for reheating leftovers or a late night popcorn snack. The furnishings were extremely comfy and the back patio was awesome. With the Thompson River flowing out back, Starbucks right below, and easy walking to all other shops and restaurants, this unit was Outstanding. We truly appreciate the hospitality of the owner Andy and will definitely be back. This is a perfect gem in the middle of town and I am so glad we found it. Thank you again Andy for all your hard work in maintaining a 5 star property :)

large, comfortable, conveniently located

This is a large, very lovely, two bedroom apartment in Estes Park. It has a balcony facing a stream and a nice paved path along the stream with access to shops and, within 10 minutes, to a beautiful hiking path around Lake Estes. It has all the equipment and appliances needed for a very comfortable mountain vacation. The problem we faced pertained to the air conditioning. Because of the design of the apartment, and the fact that it faces west, the unit can get very warm in the summer afternoon and evening. -Although the unit is advertised as being air-conditioned, the air-conditioning doesn't work. The owner is aware of this and says that because of the type of roof, air-conditioning companies in the area have difficulty accessing the unit to fix the problem. He promises that he will make a wider search and try to resolve the issue. Because of this he made an adjustment in our rent. If this is fixed I would definitely stay there again.

We love traveling and have used VRBO to find accommodations many times in both the US and oversees. The convenience of condos, the amenities and pride of ownership with VRBO owners makes the experience in my opinion far better than hotels. We have also enjoyed just getting to know the people we have rented from and look forward to meeting our guests as well. Estes Park is a beautiful town in the most beautiful state in this fine country. If you come stay here you will get a chance to see that for yourself.

Why they chose this property

This property has many appealing features. We loved this very spacious, very comfortable condo based on our initial visit. I then reviewed the rental history and online reviews and read nothing but positive comments and many return visitors. After also realizing the convenience the downtown location offers and the uniqueness of this property it was an easy decision that this was the only property we were interested in acquiring.

What makes this property unique

Location, size and finish. The large, open condo is beautifully designed and has been very well maintained. The condo has vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows to let in the natural sun abundant in Colorado. The location is unrivaled and the finish in this unit from the rock surround fireplace, to the very nice kitchen appliances and design to the large luxurious bathroom this unit has it all.

Do you like shopping? The location in downtown makes taking advantage of all Estes Park has to offer and no parking hassles or need to fight traffic. You come and go as you please and all shops are within walking distance. You like dining out? Many of Estes Parks finest restaurants are within a block or two of the condo and all an easy walk. Like the outdoors? Visit to Rocky Mountain National Park via the free visitor shuttles which is only a short walk from the condo. Lake Estes via the riverwalk is literally right outside the door. This location brings the shopping, dining and great outdoors all together in one luxurious location. We think you will like the convenience of leaving your car parked once you get here.
