I was looking for an authentic New Orleans house for my mother 80th birthday trip . Together with her friends, we had a lovely time. Could’ve stayed at the house and never needed to see any more of New Orleans.
Property was absolutely amazing, pictures did not do any part of this house justice. Marcia was an amazing and attentive host who came out to the property when there was an issue.
Overall, the property was very good. The host was excellent: great communicator. While the beds were excellent, the seating (couches, dining room chairs, etc) left a lot to be desired. They were stained and torn and broken and all around very uncomfortable. That was a shame, since it detracted from an otherwise great place.
The property was perfect for us - our daughter got married in New Orleans and many of the family members stayed there. It was great to have so many bathrooms! Plus, she was able to get ready there and have some photos before the wedding - so many beautiful photo spots. Everything was as pictured and clean. I wish we had understood the area a little better before booking but it worked out fine. I also wish we had more time to stay to enjoy the nice backyard area.

The house and garden area are so nice for photos! The area is developing, like a lot of New Orleans, but we love how centrally located we are to everything - walkable to lower garden, downtown and even the Quarter (~20min walk or 5min car ride). We would love to host you again next time you are in NOLA.
The house was very large and easy to find. It is centrally located to everything our group wanted to do while there, and the house was comfortable and had everything we needed while there. There were a few issues from previous guests such an issue with the pool and the washing machine was replaced while we stayed, however the host took care of any issues we had rather quickly and without bothering us. She truly tried to make things right for us, and we appreciated that very much. New Orleans does have several areas still being worked on, and this area is included. If you have ever stayed in a big city such as Memphis, St. Louis, Chicago or the like this shouldn't be a problem. But if you are coming from a rural area, please consider this. Ultimately, we ended up enjoying our stay without bother. We appreciated the use of the space and the good communication we received.
