2 BDRM Railtown Suite has 1200 sqft of living area with wifi, cable TV, patio, coffee/tea bar, spacious lounge, full kitchen, gas fireplace, washer/dryer, and free parking as well.

The Railtown Suite is cozy warm with the gas fireplace in the winter and air conditioned in the summer months.

The keypad entry is convenient and easy to access your suite with the code we will give you.

A fenced stairway leads to your private entrance with a keyless entry. Continue around the corner to your private patio to enjoy a beautiful sunset nestled between the mountains.

This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

We had a wonderful stay at the Railtown suite, definitely a home away from home. We were able to have family visits, share meals, enjoying time together in a comfortable homey atmosphere. Well stocked, walkable, clean, roomy….perfect. Thank you Chara!! Definitely recommended.

Super cute and close to town

The property is exactly as it is listed. Walk two blocks, and you are right in the heart of shopping and excellent restaurants. It was a great central location for hitting the ski hill as well. Chara had us set up with everything we needed and was responsive to questions. I will definitely be staying here again.

The apartment provided a delightfully comfortable and convenient start to our trip. It had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Tucked away slice of paradise

Stayed in the upper loft last year but the Railtowm suite is just as charming and so well appointed. Chara’s genuine hospitality and eye for style and amenities make for an amazing stay. Location is fantastic, walk everywhere, so no fuss with pay parking or trouble in even finding a spot near Baker St. You won’t even notice the train and they are fun to see up close.

The suite exceeded expectations and was roomy, cute and well stocked. Trains were right outside the window but quiet and fun to see, they didn’t disrupt our sleep at all. Super close to trendy baker street and good restaurants and cute shops. Highly recommend.

Charming hidden gem

Loved our stay here! Cozy, comfortable and charming decor, with all necessities supplied. Before arriving, we were a bit worried about being so close to the train tracks, but it wasn’t an issue at all. A couple of trains went by while we were there but they are very slow moving and quiet. It was fun to see them up close. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Geezers Skiing

Two retired guys up from Lower Canada playing along the Powder Highway while our knees and hips can still manage. The property is a little tricky to find, but the location is great! The views … Spectacular mountains across a rail yard. Super convenient to the restaurants and shops in downtown Nelson, and the apartment is well fitted out.

I’m a watercolour artist, and you’ll find some of my recent paintings displayed throughout the suite for an original, creative touch.

We love good food, music, and time with family and friends. Guests are also welcome to take a copy of my book, ‘Loved,’ during their stay.

Nelson has been our home for over 30 years, and we adore downtown living. Baker Street is full of eclectic shops and excellent restaurants, and we often walk to the movies, grab a great coffee, or stroll down to the lake.

We hope you absolutely love your stay and look forward to welcoming you back.

Why they chose this property

When we first walked into this property, it was an instant, "YES!" The ambiance is peaceful, cozy and yet so spacious. It's amazing to be right downtown and yet tucked away in a quiet nook, away from downtown noise. We love it.

What makes this property unique

Being able to walk anywhere is so freeing! The convenience of being so close to coffee shops, the lake, markets/shopping and even grocery stores cannot be overvalued. The views of the mountains and sunsets are beautiful. It's also fun to watch the small airplanes and occasional trains come by.
