About the host
Hosted by Tim Mantz
Born and raised in New England, Tim is a northerner at heart. After spending the last 40 years building the most beautiful homes across Fairfield and Westchester Counties, he has had one last HURRAH building the Becket House. When you stay here you will find the love he has poured into every inch of this property as he plans for it to be hosting his family long into the future whenever he isn't sharing it with his guests & friends.
Why they chose this property
Tim grew up on the mountains of Becket, spending his summers in a tiny cottage without electricity or running water on the edge of Yokum Pond. Those summers were formative for him, so when a large tract of land came up for sale 20 years ago he made sure to grab a piece of his childhood for his own family to enjoy.
What makes this property unique
Tim waited almost 20 years to build on this land and when you stay in this home, you will see and feel all of the years he spent dreaming of ways to make it perfect. From the direction each window faces, to the fine fixtures and elevated woodwork, Tim poured his heart into every square inch of this home. It's a special place indeed, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
