Grittier neighborhood than expected

Overall, the apartment met our needs, but it really is a 3 bedroom with a loft, rather than a 4 bedroom place. Privacy was an issue as a result. The neighborhood was more run down than expected, but it was safe and convenient.

Spacious

The house was large, clean with great bathrooms. It was not exactly 5 bedrooms. One room has a partial wall dividing a large bed from 2 twins. The living room has some pullout chairs and a sofa. The other bedroom has two twins and a pullout sofa. The last bed, the loft is in a common space. We made it work for our two families by having kids sleep in the parents’ Rooms On the upside, the location was great. The check-in and out processes were very easy and Manolos was fantastic. He is easy-going, accommodating and also is a driver. He made recommendations for meals and was very informative. The bathrooms in this house are fantastic. Big showers, which is unusual in Europe, nice fixtures and good lighting. Washer and dryer! And great air conditioning. Overall, this was a fantastic place and we had a great stay.

if you're eating at Funky Gourmet, you're like RIGHT there

we had a sumptuous feast at funky gourmet (michelin two-star!) and did all the wine pairing, so it *really* came in handy that Urban Art Experience is staggering distance away. just over two blocks away. gigantic! space for a large party; tastefully decorated (with art made by the owner!); easy access to key neighborhoods
