Check in process was fine. The kitchen was clean for the most part but needs some minor cosmetic updates like fresh paint, matching curtains, clean baseboards and lots of cobwebs on ceilings and walls
Had everything we needed for a boys weekend. No complaints but if you have trouble with stairs, these are steep and may give you an issue. For the price and location, this was a good deal for a quick weekend trip

These pictures that are posted in the ad for this home is misleading. They must have been taken in 1980 or something when the house was brand new!! The yard is not enclosed, broken fence all around, the fire pit was in shambles. The wifi did NOT work or the television, we could only get one channel which consisted of 24 hours of MMA wrestling. The refrigerator only worked for the freezer, the other part was not ending up with us having to buy serveral bags of ice to keep our stuff cold.

We stayed at this property over the weekend and unfortunately our experience didn’t fully match the photos or expectations. While the location in St. Augustine was convenient, the home itself felt much older than pictured and had a noticeable old smell upon entering. One of the rooms had a large hole in both the wall and the door, which was surprising and made the stay less comfortable. The refrigerator also wasn’t working properly, which was inconvenient for our group.Additionally, the exterior of the house did not look like the photos and appeared much less maintained in person. The host was responsive, but overall the property would benefit from some updates and more accurate listing photos to better reflect its true condition.

The property was clean and location was good. There were all the basic kitchen gadgets needed for the stay like coffee maker , microwave and also a blender for smoothies. The only problem we saw was the locker was a bit complex and old model

The house was cute, spacious for 6 and the interior was clean. However, the exterior in the photos had to have come from someones dream about the house. Not even close. The back yard that is discussed as a draw for the house is nearly unusable. No grass as shown. The fire pit must have been DIY becaise there simply were several bricks scattered where perhaps a pit once was. The vines that cover the deck are overgrown and dead. One lightening strike away from a tinder box. Lastly, the pipe from the bedroom shower leak into the carport so i wouldnt reccommend parki g your car there.

Disappointed
The house was good enough. The pictures make it look like bright home on the country side, but it wasn’t. There was no grass, all rocks and it’s right on the intersection of 2 main roads. It was conveniently located. There were a lot of random broken things in the house and random junk in the yard. Wouldn’t do it again, but good enough.
This house was not fancy. It had wear and some stains on the rug BUT… I don’t expect perfection. My husband and I went down for Bike week. Usually we take out our two Labs on vacation with us so we don’t look for perfect. This house was in a convenient location in St. Augustine. There was plenty of parking for our truck and trailer. I definitely would bring my dogs with us to stay here again.the only thing I would say is the fenced in yard has broken/missing for pets to get through. Other than that, it would be very pet friendly.

Unprepared Hist
At first glance in the web the location looked ideal the place looked new and clean, upon arrival the opposite. The inside was old, in the bedroom a pressure washer with dust was left eliminating that master bedroom closet for use. We also had to sleep next to it! The bathrooms had mold in the shower railings. The unit reminded me of a RV or Mobil home. The place was not worth the nightly rate. I would say the most 129 a night in its current state. Good thing we only stayed one night. Be advised when booking to contact the host to ensure that the unit is suitable to stay in. In another note next door they are constructing a new home. So if noise is an issue this may not be your spot.
This house was perfectly located close to everything we wanted to do while on vacation. We slept a family of 5 comfortably. There were a lot of great things about the house, but a few minor things that could be upgraded/repaired. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked for us to cook at home when we wanted to. The yard did not have much grass as pictured in the listing, it was mostly rock and the back fence was in need of repair. We did enjoy the view and the little lizards and crabs that were always around. The big couch had a pice of wood under the cushions which made it kind of uncomfortable but we made it work. Just some minor things that could use some TLC. Overall it was a great spot for us and we really felt at home. I would stay here again for sure.
We could not see the steps in any pictures and my wife is handicapped. Street very, very loud and noisy. Bathrooms not in good shape. Doors in master bath shower broken and unsafe, nothing to hold on to when taking a shower. Only one fire exit to get down the narrow steps. Not satisfied with our trip. We have 2 small dogs which I paid extra for and front gate was broken. They could get out and get run over on that busy street. No grassy area for dogs to potty, but however we did pick up when our dogs went potty. Trash from previous tenants still in trash cans Underneath house. Very disappointed overall for price we paid for rental of house. Sorry but you asked for a review
Property is extremely outdated from the condition of the house to the furniture and kitchen appliances. The main bedroom bed is nice and cozy but the room with the other queen is all springs. Save your back and buy a cheap mattress topper if you're staying awhile.
This house is also right on a busy highway so you will hear every car and fire truck that goes by. There's a fire station half a mile up the road so ambulance and fire truck noise is unavoidable. Bring a noise machine or ear plugs and a sleeping mask. The second room with the queen doesn't have curtains so you will see street lights all night as well.
Honestly, find somewhere else if you can. There's construction going on right next door as well where a new house is being built. Your car will have dirt all over it, no matter where you park. Save your money people, learn from my mistake.

Mehhhh! 😕
Check in was easy and a early checkin was offered. Upon arrival there was extreme disappointment with the exterior of the property. No green lush yard. The firepit was no useable. The pictures are altered.Old animal feces everywhere. Yard not maintained at all. Gas grill did not work. There was no propane. Trashy exterior. The living room area smelled like urine. I left the house to go buy candles, Febreeze, and carpet fresh. The next morning we git up to prepare breakfast and the sink leaked from under the dishwasher bringing a HORRID smell. I contacted the Vacasa guest services. They sent someone out to fix the leak.
They beds were comfortable. Being close to the beach and historic area were close by. They did extend a small discount. We are a group that enjoys being outside, so this property was extremely disappointing. We will not use this property again.
all over.

False advertising/wedding stay ruined
We arrived and the smell was unbearable, smelled of wet dog and mold. Had to open all the windows and doors, took two days to start to even begin to remove the smell, and a wet mop found in the closet had a stench that was too much, we had to put it outside for the remainder of our trip. The photos of the listing showed a beautiful grass yard and porch, we arrived to rocks that filled the landscape and old dog poop in the yard, moldy siding and a burnt spot on the stairs going up to front door from a previous stay where someone caught it on fire. As you arrive it’s on a busy main road and the listing made us believe that we were in some sort of beautiful marsh lined neighborhood. I went in to do a once over and the window in the master bedroom was broken (called that in along with photos of the window and condition of the home.) The couches smelled we had to put blankets on them to even sit on them. My father was taking a shower and as we stood outside I saw the piping leaking water all over my car under the carport. I had called in to Vacasa for all these things and was told a local person was coming out to fix these issues and to no surprise nobody came! We came to st. Augustine for the first time ever to get married and this was a great disappointment and ruined our special occasion. I have many photos and videos to verify all of this.

I'm not sure where to even start. I have stayed at 100s of properties and have never left a bad review. About 2 hours before checkin I recieved a text saying we xould chevkin early. However we did not have a door code. I decided to call as we were about 2 hours away. They informed on the phone they would not honor the reservation eith no reason why. I was livid as it was still showing booked on Vrbo. We hung and I scrambled to find other accomodations. Mind you we were traveling with our family cross country as we were moving and this was so last minute we could not find a new rental. They then called back 5 minutes later saying we could check in after all. At this point we were just happy to have the rental......until we arrived. There was garbage all over outside. Inisde I'm not even sure where to begin. It was filthy. I mean so dirty we couldn't sleep on the stained bedding. The sofa bed had so much dirt I'm not sure it was ever cleaned. The floor tiles were filthy and cracked or just missing. Shower door was not even on the tracks. I can't even list all the things. It looked like a house decorated at dollar tree. The curtain rods were barely attached. I do know if I ever see a Vacasa home on vrbo I will avoid it like the plague. It was that bad.
