Landmark 3 Camp Estate with Private Beach and Pier in Belgrade Lakes, Maine

"Whispering Pines" is a landmark, 3-camp compound on the waters of Great Pond. It boasts 300' of sandy waterfront, open yards for play and woods for adventure. 50' grass pier protects private beach from southerly winds for daylong swimming. Located less than 5 miles from Belgrade Lakes Village, we are surrounded by great hiking, quaint shops, award-winning golf, and superb dining. The peaceful Fall season offers spectacular foliage displays and fishing for trophy bass, trout or salmon. 3 SEPARATE BUILDINGS provide private living quarters for larger groups and families; 2 large camps and the bunkhouse can easily accommodate 16+ people.
The 2 main camps have equipped kitchens and full baths. Living areas offer open-beamed dining, family rooms with large picture windows, and 2 full length screened porches. The bunkhouse offers a kitchenette and half bath.
An outdoor shower is a summer treat and makes cleaning the kids fun.

Whispering Pines’ 3.5 acres provide plenty of room to move around outside! The inviting outdoor space with private sandy beach makes the perfect place for gathering with family and friends. Each camp has a semi-private deck with separate patio table dining and lounging allowing for a quiet retreat to sunbathe or read. For cooking gatherings, an oversized brick patio, XL gas grill, lobster cooker and 2 XL picnic tables are at your ready.
The expansive, level yard is perfect for sports and play. We also have a few outdoor games for guest use such as bocce, cornhole and can jam. The quiet private camp road makes for peaceful wooded walks or a fun kid’s bike ride. The 2 hammock locations are choice settings in the ‘serene pine grove’ and at the ‘refreshing waterfront’.
As evening rolls around, you may find yourself cozied into one of the new, all-season Adirondack chairs at the firepit. We provide plenty of seasoned firewood and ample blankets for stargazing on those Maine summer nights.
Our property is professionally treated with Mosquito and Tick repellant.
The expansive 300’, sandy-bottom waterfront makes for great swimming at 2’-4’ deep. The shoreline boasts the landmark 50’ grass pier as it protects the private beach from Southerly winds for day-long swimming.
Our quiet cove location is ideal for paddle sports and swimming with open waters for sailing and power watersports. Nearby Robbins Mill Stream wetland and open deep water offer great fishing for bass, pike, trout, perch & more.
Guests are welcome to use the kayaks (4 adult & 4 youth), canoe, paddleboard, and rowboat at their discretion, as well as any other beach toys/furniture; life jackets provided. We have a 2-dock system, swim raft and 1 deep water mooring for your use. (The boathouse is not available for this rental) Special accommodations can be made for boat trailer parking.
