About this property
Private Mountaintop Getaway w/King Bed! - Silverstone Cottage
🏡 Your Secluded Sanctuary
Step into your own secluded and quiet piece of paradise, where our certified green-built cottage sits majestically atop 15 acres in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. This is a truly magical place where you can wake up above the clouds and dine under the stars!
✨ Enjoy the Outdoors
Our huge deck is your outdoor living room, perfect for starting your day with coffee or winding down as the sun sets. It features comfortable rocking Adirondack chairs (with convenient cup/wine holders), a dining table, and plenty of space for a morning yoga session (mats are provided for your stay!). Take your time and simply take in the beautiful views.
🌲 Discover Western North Carolina
While your cottage is a quiet retreat, you are minutes away from incredible mountain adventures:
• Charming Weaverville: We highly recommend a trip down to this great small town for coffee, groceries, checking out the great local restaurants, and exploring the cute gift and artisan shops.
• The Blue Ridge Parkway: You are just minutes from an entrance connecting you to iconic spots like Mt. Mitchell (the highest elevation east of the Mississippi) or the trails of Smoky Mountain National Park.
• Adventure Awaits: Spend a day exploring the historic Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock state park, or discover a hidden hiking trail leading to a gorgeous waterfall—the adventures here are endless.
🦌 A Note from Nature
Our front yard is a natural wildlife crossing! Guests often enjoy seeing our visitors, who can appear anytime but mostly in the evening, walk the trails right from the kitchen window. We've been fortunate to share the property with turkeys, deer, raccoons, bobcats, coyotes, and even black bears.
🗝️ Designed for the View
The home was built in August of '25 and features beautiful 360-degree views. To maximize your mountain experience, we intentionally do not have window coverings in the main room of the house (except for light drapes on the living room window).
Please Note: The property is very private and best suited for two adults only. For safety reasons related to potential fall hazards, we cannot accommodate small children.

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the area during our first ever visit during the pandemic. Nate immediately knew he wanted to eventually live there.
We searched for the right property in the area and particularly loved Weaverville.
The area is so beautiful and relaxing. There's something about the Smoky Mountains that just heals the mind on soul.

What makes this property unique
Our property sits high enough you feel like you're walking out into the clouds when you go out on the deck. Some mornings you are above the clouds, others you're in them.
Being on the ridge line there is a a wildlife path as the animals go from on side of the mountain to the other. You'll see all kinds of animals while visiting our cottage.
