About this property
Private Mountaintop Getaway w/King Bed! - Silverstone Cottage
Our cottage sits atop 15 acres in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. A truly magical place to visit, you’ll feel welcomed by the community below, and have access to all the amenities you’d want close by. The cottage though is your own secluded and quiet piece of paradise.
Wake up above the clouds and dine under the stars! The deck is huge, and has rocking Adirondack chairs (with a cup/wine holders), a dining table, and plenty of extra space for yoga (mats provided during your stay) or just taking it all in. Take your time out on the deck!
Weaverville is a great small town, we highly recommend you stop for coffee or groceries. Check out some of the great restaurants, as well as some cute gift shops and artists shops.
Just minutes from an entrance onto the Blue Ridge Parkway connecting you to Mt. Mitchell (highest elevation east of the Mississippi) or Smoky Mountain National Park. Spend the day at the Biltmore or Chimney Rock state park. Maybe a hiking trail leading to a gorgeous waterfall is more your thing. One thing is for sure, the adventures in beautiful Western North Carolina don't end.
There is a wildlife crossing in our front yard, where we’ve seen all sorts of visitors. They mostly visit in the evening, but it can happen anytime. Guests have enjoyed seeing them walk the trails from the kitchen window! We have seen turkeys, squirrels, raccoons, deer, coyotes and black bears.
The property was completed in August of 2025 with the rear deck facing south on the top of the ridge line, the property itself has beautiful 360 degree views. The home is a certified green built home by a local WNC builder.
The property is very private and secluded. It's best suited for up to two adults and cannot accommodate additional guests. The home is not appropriate for small children as there are steep slopes and potential fall concerns. Other than light drapes on the living room window, we intentionally do not have window coverings (kitchen window and patio door) in the main room of the house which allows for fantastic 360 degree views.
The home is all one level but does have 2 steps on the front to be able to enter the home.
An AWD/4WD vehicle is required to access the property. The driveway is gravel and has two steeper sections, please don't stop on those areas just keep steady on the gas. Take a wide turn in the upper switchback area. No EV charging is allowed.
There are two ring cameras onsite recording audio and video. One is on the front door facing the parking area and the second one on the pumphouse facing the driveway.

We fell in love with the area during our first ever visit during the pandemic. Nate immediately knew he wanted to eventually live there.
We searched for the right property in the area and particularly loved Weaverville.
The area is so beautiful and relaxing. There's something about the Smoky Mountains that just heals the mind on soul.
