Communication with Joseph was perfect, making the process seamless. Location is perfect for enjoying the immediate neighborhood, easy walking with lots of green space nearby, quaint Swedish restaurant and large shop nearby. End of Brown line several blocks away. Apartment has lots of space, pleasant furnishings, comfy bed. Kitchen big enough for real cooking if you wish.

Good place to stay. Great recommendation for families or for people looking for a place to come back to, after exploring the city or doing things all day. I don’t really recommend it for people who plan on using it as their main spot to spend the majority of their time. Family lives upstairs and it can feel cumbersome to try and follow all the rules and make sure you aren’t disturbing them. Other than that, the host was communicative and accommodating. My party and I enjoyed having it as home base for the weekend. One thing we didn’t catch and I’ll say, as a heads up, there is no oven, just a stove top. We made the rookie move of shopping without checking.

Thanks for your feedback but I’m going to have to agree to disagree on the comment about the rules cuz More than rules, is just pretty simple guidelines that any mature responsable adult would easily follow without feeling is cumbersome to do so- for example - no vaping or smoking inside the unit, no parties, no unauthorized guests over night, quiet hours etc, most hots will have 99.9% of same rules, to avoid having their places trashed or any kind of disruptive behavior that could disturb family or neighbors caused by inconsiderate guests. the listing does specify this is not a party house but a place to gather, chat, eat and relax after exploring the city, sorry if you got the wrong idea about the place and had different expectations that you could not fulfill.

The rental is beautiful and as described, free parking is usually available within a block and the host was very nice to rent from - highly recommend this place! She was quickly responsive and was very kind when we ran into each other in person.Important to note: you dont have control over your own temp in this rental, there are vents that will share whatever the host sets it at. That being said, it can get pretty cold since its a garden unit so definitely pack warm clothes for lounging, even if your visiting in the summer.
