We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location is excellent, and everything was spotless upon arrival. Rick was incredibly responsive, answering all of our questions and providing detailed information ahead of check-in, which made the process seamless.Once we arrived, we appreciated the thoughtfully prepared guest book. It covers just about everything you might need during your stay, including a helpful checklist for checkout. The home is very well laid out, with spacious bedrooms throughout. The rooms on the top and bottom floors are especially large (each with a king bed, sofa/futon, and good size bathrooms), while the middle-level bedroom is slightly smaller but still very comfortable, featuring a king bed and a beautiful bathroom. The bathrooms were all very clean, and it was great to have towels and basic toiletries provided. The laundry area was also well-stocked, with a standard washer and dryer and a variety of detergents available for guest use.Overall, the home felt welcoming and comfortable—truly a perfect home base for our week of hiking, snow activities, shopping, and dining around Lake Tahoe. It’s also just a short, scenic walk to the beach and offers easy access to a great hike up Round Mound. We would absolutely stay here again, highly recommend!
