The house is beautiful and very comfortable for our group. We loved sitting in the extra-large living room to visit with our friends, and the kitchen is amazing. Thank you for our stay; it was perfect for our son's wedding nearby.

Craig was an outstanding host and whenever we needed to communicate his response was prompt. Centrally located property allowed easy access to Seward and Homer. Facility is clean, well furnished and everything you need to have a relaxing visit. Highly recommend and we will return next year, God willing.

This was perfect for our family getaway. A beautiful spacious and well appointed home in a location convenient to all our favorite outdoor activities. We like to cook our own meals and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Lots of thoughtful touches, throughout including a warm welcome from the hosts. For some of us it was our first time in Alaska so the stunning framed wildlife photos were a delight to see. Definitely recommend a return visit.

Four bedroom Cooper Landing, Alaska home did not disappoint! This house was a great find on VRBO! 3 bedrooms had queen beds, one bedroom 2 twins. House was immaculate, exactly as described, and at a very reasonable price for what you get. The living area is spacious with very nice furniture, kitchen well stocked, full sized refrigerator, extra deep freezer in laundry area. Bedding was all fresh, comfortable, plenty of towels, nice window blinds. Beautiful view from outside porch. Heater in each room, no AC. Ceiling fan in living area only. You’ll need a car to get around. Bathroom with shower is good size, lots of counter space. Second bathroom does not have a shower. Would not recommend walking on the road, as there was quite a bit of traffic going to the Princess Lodge. But I did see quite a few residents walking their dogs and jogging. Hosts Craig and Lori were very responsive, clear check in and out instructions, gave info on things to do in Cooper Landing, and you could tell they added a ton of personal touches to the house. Cooper Landing, Alaska has great fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, nice museum, and even a very unique cemetery. We ate at Gwins Lodge, Two Brothers, Princess Lodge, Sunshine Inn Lodge. This house is a 10!

Highly recommend! Beautiful family friendly home off the beaten path, which makes it a quiet place. The host Craig is attentive to your needs and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasurable stay. Coopers Landing is a nice town with beautiful scenery along the Kenai River and has a lot to offer. We always felt safe and the locals were very friendly.

Beautiful property in a beautiful part of the country. I rented this house for my family to stay while we celebrated the life of my uncle. It was very spacious and close by to everything we needed it to be. We will definitely be back if we travel back up in a large group again. Beautiful view of the mountain, and I was pleasantly surprised to find blackout curtains in every bedroom which is an Alaska summer essential!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Such a great layout and plenty of room for our family to spread out. Kitchen is stocked with everything anyone could possibly need and even a couple of canisters of bear spray are provided! :) Although we didn't end up needing it like years past :(, the chest freezer was available to use. We loved the surrounding trees (we kept hoping a moose would walk out of the woods right in front of the large living room windows) and the mountain view out the front windows. Had fun playing some of the games provided. Wifi was great for basic internet and email but a lil slow for watching a World Cup game, but thats ok - we weren't there to watch TV! Very convenient location to run down to the Russian River or up to Moose Pass for a beautiful hike to Carter Lake. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable. We walked down to the Cooper Landing cemetery to get an evening stroll in, and it was the most unique cemetery we've ever visited. Craig and Lori were excellent hosts and communicators! We will try to stay here again next year for sure!

Hello! My name is Craig and my wife, Lori, and I want to welcome you to beautiful Cooper Landing! I grew up in Minnesota, moved to Alaska for the adventure and met my Hoosier wife here, 10 years later. We raised our family here and spent many years building this "cabin" together and are so excited to be able to share our special place with you! We hope you enjoy it as much as we have throughout the years.

Why they chose this property

We have always loved this area of Alaska for its beauty, amazing fishing, wildlife and welcoming small-town feel. The friendliness of the locals and
the slower pace of life make this area a true retreat for rest and relaxation.

What makes this property unique

Our Corner of Heaven has the feel of a remote cabin with many amenities and adventures close by. Take a hike to the Russian River for worldclass fishing, a short drive to Seward to visit Exit Glacier or take a Kenai Fjords tour. Or just relax in beautiful Cooper Landing where you can visit the Cooper Landing Brewing Company, the Kenai Princess Lodge for dinner, Wildman's for groceries and snacks and the historical Cooper Landing Museum, to name a few. This area is a quick jump off point for Soldotna, Kenai and your visit to Homer as well.
