We loved our stay at this beautiful and comfortable village home. It is a great house to share with extended family with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable together and to also have some privacy. We love the location, so easy to walk into town to pick up essentials, and beautiful neighborhoods with incredible views for dog walking and strolling.

Everything single thing is perfect!
We just adore this property! It’s charm. It’s design. It’s proximity to town. The ease of cooking area and space for entertaining. Love love love. And working with the Island Agency couldn’t be smoother. It’s a wonderful company.

A Quaint New England Cottage
This was the third time I have rented Summer House, and I have enjoyed my stay each time.
It is locate in a perfect area of Stonington; it is very near downtown, restaurants, and the opera house.
If you enjoy cooking, the Kitchen is fully equipped. The primary bed and bath are on the main level with two additional bedrooms and a bath up stairs.
I have rented a number of cottages in Stonington for the last 15 years, and Summer House is my favorite.

A comfortable and relaxing vacation!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Summer House. It was well-supplied and had plenty of rooms and bathrooms for us and our guests. It was pet-friendly, which was a bonus. It was pleasantly decorated and convenient for restaurants and activities. There was a nice yard. It was a perfect place to stay!

Incredible house
This was the perfect house for my husband and I, our kids and my mother to spend a week together. It was beautifully furnished with interesting art and antiques, well appointed and had ample room to cook and eat and be together both inside and out. Each bedroom was comfortable and private, we all slept so well. We loved the in town location, the neighborhoods were charming to walk in and the views so scenic. We would love to return again!

Perfect Vacation Rental
We had a wonderful experience staying at the Summer House. We have been to Stonington many times but this visit was exceptional. The house is located right up the hill from the main street and just steps from beautiful views of the water. The house was very cozy, had plenty of space, and had great decor that was very evocative of everything we love about Maine. We also appreciated that it was dog friendly which was very helpful for us. We would absolutely rent this property again. Thanks to the Island Agency for the fantastic communication and support.

HOUSE RULES NO SMOKING No large parties or gatherings No fire pits unless advertised and included
CANCELLATION POLICY All cancellations must be in writing and received by Agent. Cancellations may only be made between the date that a reservation deposit is received and a date determined to be 45 days prior to the tenants scheduled arrival date. Cancelations within 45 days of arrival will not result in a refund in whole or part of rental monies received. If a cancellation is made prior to 45 days of arrival, the Agent shall, as an accommodation to the Tenant, make an effort to re-rent the property at the published rate for the rental term reserved. No refund of rents paid will be made until the canceled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the canceled period is re-rented, any rent and taxes paid will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. If the re-rental amount is less than the published rate, any difference in rental rate remains the sole obligation of the tenant. If the unit is not re-rented, all rents paid, processing fees and taxes shall be forfeited as damages. This cancellation policy is strictly followed. Tenants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for all vacations to cover many situations that may arise that might cause one to cancel vacation plans. There are many independent insurance providers available to tenants. I understand that the insurance company holds this policy and that The Island Agency does not determine eligibly of claims.
