My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Ellsworth. It was a great location for a day trip to Bangor and a day trip to Acadia National Park. The house had everything we needed and was set off the road enough to be very private and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

The rental was nicely equipped (and the host generously provided a lovely lobster pot and crackers for our use), and the beds were comfortable. However, one the bedrooms smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. We tried opening windows, using the fan aggressively, and keeping the door open, but the smell was too strong. That was the bedroom with the twin beds, so especially troubling for the kids' sleeping in that room. Other than that, this rental would've received a much higher score.

I sincerely apologize for the smoke odor in the bedroom; your concerns are important to us and have worked hard to remedy that situation.
