Exactly what we were looking for. It was quiet, relaxing and beautiful. We fell in love with Maine and this house was the perfect location to explore. Easy to get to Acadia National Park and plenty of fun local places to eat.

Located in a quiet area overlooking the water. Just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful state of Maine. Quaint stores and plenty of seafood. We loved the house and it's access to so many activities. I will definitely go back. Thank you Judith.

Thank you Linda for the lovely review...thats all true i think! So delighted you came here!
The house sat right on Frenchman’s bay. A beautiful view each day. The location was perfect for us to access both parts of ANP. Lots of great food choices in the area. We went to Tracy’s 2x.
If your looking for an inexpensive place to sleep with a great view and not concerned with a 50 minute drive to Acadia and a dirty dated house, this is the place for you. Otherwise, there was a lot not to be desired. House is nice on the outside but dated and dirty on the inside. Great potential but needs work like a new towel bar and toilet paper dispenser in the first floor bathroom and a toilet paper dispenser in the 2nd floor bathroom. Needs to be throughly cleaned and nasty towels replaced. Thankful to have a place to stay by the park when booked 3 weeks before our trip, but would not stay here again.

I gave you 4 nights in a 10 yr old waterfront home for $1350.00. I is usually described as quiet, cozy, comfortable and has amazing water views from all rooms. I have over 75 5 star reviews and 24 current photos to view. If you made a mistake in selecting a property....I'm sorry.....
I did the turnover myself that day and the place was spotless! If anything,I worried that it may have smelled too much of Pinesol, as I went over absolutely everything with that. The sheets and towels are high quality cotten and I've been complimented on that.
If you wanted more you should have spent more......but my guests usually rave about everything !
Wonderful hostess and so welcoming. Very homey feeling. Great floor plan.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hancock House! Can't beat the views. We enjoyed sitting outside around the fire while looking over the water. There are some tasty restaurants a short drive away. We also enjoyed the schoodic side of Acadia which was much less busy.

Thanks for the lovely review. I'm not very surprised you liked the place......but I'm prejudiced.
We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental. The location was fantastic—peaceful, quiet, and with beautiful views and easy access to the Cove, which made for some great outdoor time. The house itself was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The host was very responsive and easy to contact, which we appreciated. There were a couple of drawbacks worth noting: we had some trouble with fruit flies during our stay, likely due to the season, and the living room furniture wasn’t the most comfortable. There was also a noticeable dog odor on the furniture Overall, the positives definitely outweighed the negatives, and with a few small updates, this place could be truly outstanding.
We really enjoyed our stay at Hancock Point. Cabin was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a great view. Judy was accessible and readily answered questions/concerns both before & during our stay. While it is a drive to get to Acadia, it is still easy to get to the park and also close to restaurants. We appreciated being someplace where it was peaceful and quiet. We'd definitely stay here again should we visit the area.

Thank you Sharon for the lovely review.
But I should advise guests that this place is not a cabin.....it is a waterfront Contemporary built in 2005....Not similar to a cabin in any way ! W/Lt green corian kitchen ......
.
Beautiful location overlooking the bay. Sun rises were beautiful each morning with a seal visitor one day! 30-40 minutes to Bar Harbor, Acadia park-a must see and about 10 from Schoodic point (also Acadia park) and also a must see! Judy was super nice and had everything ready including fresh flowers upon our arrival!

This property had everything we needed. It was very Clean, and well stocked with items you would not think of (aluminum foil, etc). I would recommend this to everyone, and if we go to Maine again, we will definitely reserved this house.
Excellent stay! Cozy house in beautiful surroundings. Whole family loved having a fire pit near the water!! Host had fresh flowers in every room. This was an unexpected delight! I would happily book this house again. Our family included myself, 4 grandkids in their twenties and a two year old.
When we arrived we were greeted by Judy , the owner. She was very pleasant & made us feel very welcomed. The is situated on Frenchman’s Bay. What a view from the living room & bedroom. The sunrise each morning was just beautiful. The house was very comfortable & had everything you needed to have an enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again.
Spacious open and airy three bedroom home with a large master bedroom. Great views of the water from all living areas of the house. Judy was a pleasure to work with.

We enjoyed our stay at Judy’s place. Judy is very attentive. House is great, view is wonderful. Recommend renting/bringing kayaks as it’s a wonderful place for them. Close enough to all the real popular tourist stuff, but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. Was perfect for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hancock Maine. There are so many things to say about this place. The views were incredible. The house was very spacious. Wonderful neighborhood as well. Nice and Quiet. Lots of places to eat nearby. Property Manager was very attentive.. We would easily go back!
House is right off the rocky beach with low tides that allow for scavenger hunts in the shallows. House is kid friendly, didn’t feel like our 6 year old would break stuff. Brought kayaks and could access the coastline. Didn’t see many other folks during our stay. Easy drive to Acadia and other fun spots. Small cottage next door would make a good larger group stay easy since the properties share the outdoor space and beach access.

We have tried to vacation in Maine every year for a while. After staying in beautiful Belfast several times, we decided we wanted to be closer to Acadia and Bar Harbor. My wife found this place in Hancock, and it's our very favorite. We have been here three times, and are already thinking about the fourth, in 2020! You can't beat it for comfort, views and location.

Great view and quiet out of the way property.
I loved the experience We had in Maine. Beautiful house and view. The owner is very thoughtful. The only thing that would make it better it to have a king size bed in the master and they should absolutely build a deck on the second level. It would make the outside space more enjoyable. Overall a great place!
