Gulf Beach Retreat is close enough to hear the sound of the waves, smell the salt air, and feel the Gulf breezes calling you to walk the powdery white sand of the beaches of AMI. Read a book on the private deck overlooking the heated salt water pool, or enjoy coffee on the screened in porch. The Master bedroom with balcony and has a king size bed with en suite bath. The guests rooms have a king size bed in one and two twin beds in another. Play ping pong downstairs, walk to the free trolley stop, or bike to nearby shops and restaurants. Kitchen and laundry room are fully equipped. Parking is available for 4+ cars.

Rental was amazing and literally 100 yards from the beach. Our host, Kim, was easily accessible by phone / messaging and responded immediately to answer our questions. The private pool was very clean and beach supplies were there for our use. The beach chairs and tent were a lifesaver! We already are looking to rent it again. We would highly recommend this rental which sleeps 6 comfortably.

Watch out for host trying to add extra unwarranted charges! Claimed we had some party with extra guests even though it was just our family there. Super weird that she’s apparently watching. Be prepared for the pool to be cleaned in the afternoon regardless if you are currently using the pool and no heads up about it. Property was close to beach which was convenient and really the only thing worth mentioning positive.

We are very sorry you were unhappy with your stay. Upon check in we explained the pool was cleaned weekly. It is also noted in the notebook in the home that the pool is cleaned every Friday. We cannot control what time the pool cleaners arrive. Because you would not allow the pool to be serviced at that time, we incurred additional fees for the pool company to come back on a weekend. We passed a portion of those fees on to you. We were only trying to keep the pool clean and swimmable, especially with all the rain we have been had, which can quickly turn a pool green. We do have a doorbell camera for the security of our property. It gives alerts with heavy or suspicious activity.

This family friendly home was in a quiet neighborhood walkable to the beach. The host provided pool towels which was such a thoughtful touch so we didn’t have to use our sandy beach towels at the pool! There was plenty of outdoor seating and space in full sun but also some shaded areas for greatly needed relief from the heat depending on the time of day.The deck has a locking gate at the top of the stairs for safety of young children, but could be left open as well. The inside staircases were open. Their guest manual was also very helpful with pool instructions and all information listed was informative but not overwhelming. And our host was amazing to work with for anything and everything else!

The house was very clean and furnishings were very nice. Outdoor areas were extra nice. The pool was amazing for the days that the ocean was a little rough for the grandkids. Also, it was a very short walk to the beach. It was perfect for our family.
