About the host
Your host
Kevin & I are empty nesters. We love traveling & exploring new places. We also have a passion for architecture & a good project, homes included. Using our combined vision, blood, sweat, & tears to take something not so nice & make it into something beautiful is part of what drives us. Having a large family, we have always poured love into our homes & enjoy sharing that w/others. We hope that you will find our places warm, inviting, and relaxing.
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is so walkable. We enjoy walking to Snohomish Coffee Company or Proper Joes for our morning cup of joe. Snohomish Bakery is a great place to grab delicious pastries. Walking the River Trail at sunset is so relaxing. Centennial Trail is just up the street and a great way to get to the Snohomish Public Library, and Trails End Restaurant. Access to the river is steps away, for swimming, kayaking & fishing.
What makes this property unique
Our home was built in 1890 and we did a studs out remodel in 2020. We did our best to keep the original charm and character, while also adding amenities, such as soft close cabinet doors and drawers, stainless steel appliances, 6 foot soaking tub and double headed shower, freestanding gas fireplace to keep you cozy in fall/winter. It also has a covered front porch, and fully fenced front yard with a sunken patio. There are gorgeous views of the river and old train trestle and there's parking inside the gate right next to the house.
