Summary:
A meticulously renovated 4 level warehouse style apartment, previously a Hydro sub-station built in 1950's, and in its new 2017 life is a cleverly converted high end city residence, with many unique characteristics. A rare find, just minutes to the wharf precinct, MONA ferry and Salamanca.
The apartment is generous in its proportions, has a quality fitout,high ceilings,large open plan living areas and spacious bedrooms. Other inclusions are gas hydronic heating, a courtyard and secure parking.

The Space:
The apartment is of high quality throughout, designed for modern day city living, and with many features such as polished concrete floors, underfloor heating, double glazed windows and security intercom . You can enjoy the comfort, security, peace and privacy of the apartment with all Hobart has to offer just moments away.
The kitchen features smeg appliances, Sirus (silent) island range hood, induction cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. Laundry facilities are also available on the first floor
Another feature of the apartment are the outdoor areas, with a balcony off the master bedroom and private courtyard off the second bedroom.
The beds are very comfortable, we only use professionally laundered hotel quality linen and towels and supply quality toiletries for your stay.

Guests have full use of the apartment for the duration of their stay

The Neighborhood:
Located in the neighbourhood formerly know as "Wapping", this is a real city warehouse apartment and was the unofficial name for the area in the 18th and 19th Century. It was the centre of ship building and commerce, and was occupied by the local workers due to its proximity to the docks. Today it is a vibrant area and you are just minutes away from the best Hobart has to offer - Waterfront, Theatre Royal, Queens Domain, Royal Botanic Gardens, Hobart Aquatic Centre and Salamanca.
There is also the convenience of a major supermarket nearby, the Royal Hobart Hospital and city shopping.

Getting Around:
There is a secure undercover parking space under the apartment, however you probably won't need your car accept for the out of town trips.

Other Things to Note:
The apartment is over 4 levels with stairs so may not suit all guests
Parking maximum clearance height is 1.95m
If you require a porta cot this is available on request at the time of booking

Prefect Location
The location was prefect. Easy walking distance to down town Hobart and waterfront. The apartment was well equipped for our needs. Clean and spacious. Wouldn't recommend for unfit elderly or small children. There are alot of stairs. Thank you we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Ideal property for a 2 couple stays, plenty of space. Great location being walking distance to the waterfront and the CBD. The heating system was adequate but may need adjusting for mid-winter stays. A separate washer and dryer would be the only other suggestion.

Perfect location walking distance to any where.
Loved our second stay at the apartment . Well equipped . Lovely as always comfortable beds. Spacious . Unfortunately only slight problem is upstairs shower has no glass or curtain and subsequently runs all over the floor. No drain either for water to escape . Also I recommend you bring a speaker for listening to music . You can only listen to music by using Spotify on the TV . Otherwise all great we will be back again .
