Lovely clean comfortable cottage with so much character. Central to wharf, shops, restaurants and cafes. Walking the hills could be a challenge but we worked the best streets out to tackle that.Thankyou, loved our Hobart stay.
Fantastic location, lovely touches throughout the house, everything you could reasonably need for a stay. Felt much more like a home than a rental. Would definitely return.
Quick weekend stay made comfy and cozy with a lovely cottage

Cute historic cottage. The Pinot, cheese & crackers were a nice welcome touch. Could do with some maintenance, lights, taps etc, we wouldβve loved to use the very top backyard due to the FANTASTIC VIEW but the access is so overgrown it was too much trouble getting up there without spilling your wine. We always love our visits to Tassie so the cottage served the purpose for walking to all our favourite places in Hobart.
Denise our host was amazing - everything we needed was at the cottage - location was fantastic and close to what we needed - would love to come back and stay again
Bathurst Cottage is an amazing place to call home while visiting Hobart. Situated within easy walking distance to the cbd and docks, the hosts have ensured guests have all the comforts of home and so much more. I definitely hope to return here on my future visits to Hobart.
Very welcoming... nice touch with wine and cheese.House has everything you could want for our shortish stay. Its a bit of a hill to negotiate but it's Hobart so its expected. With hindsight we should have slept in the back bedroom.
The owner was very helpful with letting me check-in a little bit early. Great spot close to town, and a very fair price. Charming little house with history.
Lovely cottage with everything you need for your stay and nice views from top of garden.Pleasant walk along Hobart Rivulet which we started on cnr of Molle and Collins to Cascade Brewery Restaurant..Would stay again

Thankyou for your review Claire. The new verandah paving was only finished the day before you arrived. Sorry I couldn't get in to drop off the sofa for the verandah before your arrival.
the cutest little cottage only a short walk from Hobarts attractions. It was very clean and welcoming and fully stocked with kitchen appliances, and bathroom and laundry necessities

Excellent venue for exploring Hobart and surrounds.
We really enjoyed the homely atmosphere of the Bathurst St Cottage. It was central to everything we required on our trip to Hobart. We appreciated the thoughtful little things like the wine and cheese on arrival and the pantry items supplied.
We will recommend Bathurst St cottage to anyone we know is travelling to Hobart.

Thanks for your kind words Peter. Youβre welcome anytime.
A quaint, historic cottage, with everything you need. Very close to the town centre, easy walk to most places. There is a garmers market on Bathurst Street on Fridays, not to be missed, great produce and meat etc. Thanks for sharing your lovely place with us Denise.
The location was amazing, so central to everything we wanted to do. We used this as our base & did lots of travelling from here including day trips to Port Arthur, caves, etc. Lovely treats on arrival π·π§& the floor heating in the bathroom was sublime! Would definitely stay again! π

About the host
Hosted by Denise Booth
Up until 3 years ago I was the practice manager to my husband's rural solo gp practice which is (part time only now) located in our home. Our 3 children, now adults, grew up surrounded by patients coming into our home. Now my husband is semi retired and doing locums around the country, we have the flexibility to visit our 3 children in 3 states of Australia. I enjoy gardening, travelling and in pursuit of fine gins! I don't have a favourite tourist destination but I enjoy returning to Italy and Finland. Hopefully in 2020 we will get to visit Mexico and Cuba.

There is a large area to the rear of the property which makes it ideal for sitting and enjoying some respite from the days busy sight seeing.
What makes this property unique
Walking distance to town and the waterfront. Located within a stones throw of some good cafes and watering holes.
