The home was unique and wonderful. It was very clean and the wooded ravine behind the house was beautiful. Lots of games for our family to play and great location to get to Bloomington, Nashville, and hikes. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay here! The house was well-stocked, nicely decorated, and mostly clean (some bugs and such, but hey, we’re in the woods!). Chatting with the host via the app was easy and timely. My one caution is for families with young children. We stayed here with our three kids (7, 5, and 1.5 years old). While they really loved the house, we had a few hiccups. The house is RIGHT up against the road with cars going very fast. From pictures, we had thought it was tucked back into the woods a bit. So going outside without a parent was a no-go for them. We also didn’t let our older boys sleep in the loft bed because the staircase isn’t blocked and has a steep drop. We worried about them falling if they needed to get up in the night. Thankfully, the “sofa sleeper” downstairs is two twin mattresses, which was just right for them. The bedding for those was makeshift, which was a bit disappointing, but we made it work and they loved their sleepover-style arrangements. The bar-style dining table made it hard for us to eat as a family, and we ended up using our picnic blanket on the living room floor (which the kids thought was great!).Overall, we had a wonderful time. My boys were yelling “bye hot tub! Bye spiral staircase! Bye video game!” as we pulled away. Thanks for a great visit to the Brown County area!

We had a great experience at this beautiful property. Everything was clean and new, inside and out. The hot tub was hot, the beds were comfortable, and the location was quiet and serene. My only beef would be that the lower level was cold. It was fine for sleeping because we had extra traveling blankets, but we couldn't hang out down there comfortably. If you have a large group that needs to utilize both levels, pack a pair of slippers and an extra blanket.
