About this property
Cedar Brook Cabin - a modern tiny house in Maine
Summary:
Luxury two-bedroom tiny cabin offering contemporary style near the best of Maine's "Vacationland" - Portland, Southern and Mid Coast beaches, Lake Sebago, Mountains, and hiking. Pets welcome!
As featured on A&E's Living Smaller Episode 10!
The Space:
Cedar Brook Cabin is tiny vacation living at its finest. The house offers two bedrooms (one master bedroom with door on the main floor and a second loft bedroom), full kitchen with four-burner gas stove and oven, farmhouse sink, butcher-block countertops, microwave, toaster oven, AC, 40” Smart TV, high speed WiFi (300 mbs), small soaking bathtub with shower, flushing toilet, Casper mattresses, outdoor area with Breeo firepit, Adirondack chairs, picnic table and Weber grill...just to name a few features. Come enjoy Maine in a whole new way!
Guest Access:
The entire cabin is available for guest use. The white garage is not accessible to guests.
The TV is in the lofted area and not in the main living area/space.
The Neighborhood:
The house is located in New Gloucester, a beautiful bucolic town 30 minutes north of Portland. We are central to so many wonderful "Vacationland" amenities, including southern and mid-coast beaches, Lake Sebago, breweries, cider mills, shopping, amazing restaurants, and the best hiking around...not to mention all the amazing offerings of Portland. On our street alone, we have the wonderful Norumbega Cidery and Big Falls Preserve (a little gem of a waterfall complete with a picnic area). Check out our guidebook for more fun things to do in our area!
Getting Around:
You will need a car to get to the cabin, but four-wheel drive is not required.
Other Things to Note:
Cedar Brook Cabin does have potable, filtered water, which runs through a custom filter retrofitted for our tiny home...this leads to water pressure that can be a little lighter than what you may be used to at home!
Please note that Cedar Brook Cabin is a non-smoking residence (both inside and out). Any violation of this rule will result in a $500 fine.
