This was the absolute best beach vacation house! The little touches throughout the house were extremely thoughtful, such as charging stations on every night stand, labeled light switches, and cleaning tools such as vacuums and brooms on every level of the house so you're not having to trudge up and down for things. The hot tub was nice and large enough to accommodate 6 adults comfortably. There is patio furniture throughout all the decks that are comfortable and perfect for lounging. The hosts have the best communication and we're so prompt about anything we needed. There is a cut thru to the beach that is built into the neighborhood making it super easy to walk or bike down. There are 2 shopping centers on each side of the neighborhood. The Harris Teeter one is 1 mile away and the Food Lion with the Timbuk II shopping center is 0.5 miles away. Both are an easy walk/bike. Timbuk II has tons of shopping, food, and a super fun go kart track that's open late and we loved racing on each night. 10/10 recommend and will definitely stay again! Btw we loved the variety of puzzles, games, and DVDs perfect for rainy days!

We had a fabulous time staying at the Brightside house! My family has been coming to OBX since the late 90s and this is among our favorite houses we’ve ever rented. The house was extremely clean and well cared for and the hosts were highly communicative throughout the rental process. The hot tub was a major plus, the house was conveniently located near restaurants and shops, and the beach was only about a 10 minute walk. Thank you for a great stay, we hope to be back next summer!

This house is accurately listed and very clean!! Offered privacy, spacious living spaces, awesome balcony, and a hot tub! The walk to the beach wasn’t too hard but definitely one we had to plan our trips out for.

We choose Corolla because of its serenity, close proximity to nature preserves and the infamous wild horses.

What makes this property unique

Our property is not simply an investment, it's our home. We take pride in our meticulous upkeep and enjoy spending our own vacations at Brightside. At only a short 8 min nature walk stroll to the beach, we can get away from main roads and traffic. Our Ocean Sands Community provides additional amenities such as Ocean Lake and Tennis/Pickleball courts in close proximity.
