Beautifully FURNISHED STUDIO apartment newly renovated with a new kitchen, refinished hardwood floors, custom tiles, separate entrance, and full bath is now available for a short or year-round rental for ONE NON-SMOKING person WITHOUT A PET. House is in the historic downtown of Rockport, with access to the beach just across the street.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor in a quiet, sunny part of the historic house. The studio includes a separate bedroom, a new kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a small storage space used as a pantry or wardrobe. The original hardwood floors had been newly refinished in navy blue. In the bathroom and kitchen are new Italian and granite tiles. The bedroom has a built-in wardrobe, a full-size bed, Pier 1 closet, Pier 1 glass table and chairs, and an HD TV. The apartment has a separate electric meter; the tenants pay for their electricity, including heating (electric baseboards). You are in the middle of the historic downtown with Motif Number One and Bearskin Neck, including galleries, shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, harbors, and ocean paths. Rockport Music-Shalin Liu Performance Music concert hall is only two minutes from the house; the library, town hall, post office, and local market are just a five-minute walk. The laundromat, hardware store, and Rite Pharmacy are next to the train station.

The train station is within eight minutes of walking distance, and Boston is one hour and ten minutes by train away. It is ideal for somebody who is looking for a second home on the ocean.

Since the house is downtown and the beach is right across the street, we don't have private off-street parking, but we have reserved Residential Parking four minutes from the house. From 11/15 till 4/15, you can park for free right in front of the house on the street without paying. Otherwise, free, overnight on-street parking is available on Main, Jewett, Cleaves, Beach, and Broadway Street around our house. You can also rent parking from neighbors.

To move in as long term rental, the tenant must pay first, last and security deposit.
No pets. No smoking. Only for one person.
