The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please start load of towels in washer for cleaners.
Please set thermostat to 55 upon departure and turn off and unplug any space heaters you used
Please take trash to bear box out front (key attached to box). No food to be left outside or in cars. Bears are very active in Tahoe even in the winter.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM in accordance with local ordinances, enforced by Placer County Sheriff •
Guests must comply with local laws, ordinances, and STR regulations. Violations may result in termination of the booking without refund.
No Smoking, vaping, or marijuana use anywhere on the property, including indoors, outdoors, decks.

We did not end up staying here due to a huge storm and road closure, but Megan (host) was super responsive and communicative. She gave us a refund due to the storm and we plan to stay here at her cabin another time. We are a family of 4 with two young kiddos and two dogs so this was an ideal spot for our family.
