The Peaceful Valley Lodge is a vacation rental cabin in the Colorado mountains just 12 miles from Breckenridge, CO. The home is extremely private and secluded. If you are searching for a luxurious Colorado mountain cabin for a family reunion, weekend getaway, romantic honeymoon or just a beautiful mountain vacation, the Peaceful Valley Lodge is perfect for you. **4WD/AWD required in winter/early spring to access cabin**
The lodge is privately owned by Marshea and Gavin Vitt. After searching for many years for the perfect mountain vacation retreat, they found the Peaceful Valley Lodge and fell in love with it immediately. The lodge is located on a secluded 2 acres wooded lot with spectacular mountain views. The home easily sleeps 6, is very well appointed with full kitchen, hot tub, wood burning fireplace, satellite TV and internet service, living and dining rooms, master suite with king size bed and private bath, rec room and much more. This charming round cabin is situated at nearly 11,000 feet where the air is crisp and clear, the views are spectacular and you can enjoy a true Colorado mountain experience.
At the Peaceful Valley Lodge mountain vacation cabin, you can relax amid a dense growth of pines, willows and aspens while contemplating the view of two of Colorado's highest mountains. Though you are only 12 miles from the international resort town of Breckenridge Colorado, you are hidden in a peaceful national forest and you can see no neighbors nor hear any traffic from your private haven. The only sound is the wind gently rustling through the trees.
The Peaceful Valley Lodge, built in 2001, is a beautifully furnished two story private mountain vacation cabin rental home that offers 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen and huge living, dining and rec rooms. Six huge picture windows wrap around the main living area and provide jaw dropping Colorado mountain views.

My sisters and I stayed at Marshea’s place this July. The house and location are beautiful. The area is very quiet and peaceful and has great views of several 14ers. It’s also a quick drive to both Breckenridge and Alma. Marshea is a great host. Highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful location close to Hoosier Pass and under the towering DeCaliBron peaks! It was easy drive down to Breckenridge or Alma and Fairplay for afternoon activities after morning hikes. Great hot tub in the evening to relax. It was a plus to have a nice grill to plan some simple meals at the cabin. Perfect for our dog as he loves all things water so he enjoyed the quick walking access to the Alma State Wildlife Refuge. We saw deer wander into the yard a few times. Very relaxing weekend. Would recommend and stay again. The owners were very responsive to questions via text.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at the Peaceful Valley Lodge! The property is very well maintained and had every amenity we needed to be comfortable! The hot tub was a plus after hiking Mt. Democrat. A well stocked kitchen and variety of games made for a fun, relaxing night in. The nearby streams were perfect for a little fly fishing. Breckenridge is an easy drive away to enjoy too. Thank you to our hosts, you were great at communicating our reservation and gave us a great place to connect as a family. We will be back!

This was a lovely retreat for our group.There are spectacular views from every window, just as the pictures showed. Be prepared to take the steps to get to the main living space, which is normally not an issue but when at high altitude can be a big adjustment. The host was wonderful at communicating and very responsive. This was a wonderful place to stay during our Colorado vacation! We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! Nice and clean, and each group had their own room; two bathrooms. The primary bedroom and bathroom were terrific. There was plenty of room in the living room and the kitchen which was well stocked with cookware and staples. The views were gorgeous! Great communication and we had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing and nice stargazing, too. Really a wonderful place to stay, thanks!

This property is a perfect getaway! The owners are super to work with, and they have thought of absolutely everything that you could possibly need while there! Gavin and I searched for many years for the perfect mountain home. Our must haves were so numerous that although we searched high and low, nothing hit the mark. Then, we found the Peaceful Valley Lodge. It was perfect and we fell in love immediately.

Why they chose this property

The Peaceful Valley Lodge has everything we were looking for right outside our door. It is a full four season vacation spot boasting fishing and hiking in spring and summer, gorgeous fall foliage, and all the winter sports we could possibly want.

What makes this property unique

The house is actually round. While this seems odd at first, once you see it, you will immediately understand the logic. The panoramic views of the mountains are simply breathtaking. Those views you see in the pictures are real, and can be what you look out onto daily at PVL!!
