Elbert, this newly built mountain cabin offers a peaceful retreat for guests craving simple living and time in nature. Designed for unplugging and unwinding, the cabin blends rustic charm with thoughtful modern comforts—without the distractions of everyday life.

Inside, the space is warm and welcoming, featuring a fully equipped modern kitchen with a dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, stove/oven, and bar seating—ideal for easy meals after a day outdoors. Two cozy bedrooms offer a queen bed and a full bed, with an additional sofa bed in the living area for extra sleeping space. A wood stove and electric heat keep the cabin comfortable on cool mountain evenings.

Step outside onto one of two decks and take in sweeping views of Mt. Elbert, perfect for morning coffee, quiet reflection, or stargazing at night. My neighbors are deer, martins, elk, squirrels, and bears. It is near the lakes where I fish surrounded by the mountains I hike.

My friends and I began building this cabin in 2007. We put our own craftsmanship into the cabin. This cabin was built to fit in with the natural environment.
