A beautiful house and location. Spacious home for a reunion. We were so blessed and lucky to have Catie and Brandon allow us to have this home part of my wedding day! We couldn’t thank them enough!

This house was AMAZING!! The check in process was seamless and Caitie was super helpful providing us with recommendations in the area, but we barely left because the house had everything to keep us entertained! My family of 5 stayed in the house with 2 other families, we all had our own space and bathrooms! The house was super clean, beds were comfy, and the view is picturesque! This house has its own private little beach, where we spent most of the days.. swimming, kayaking and on the peddle boat which was all provided. We enjoyed lighting fires at night and making s’mores! We plan to make this a tradition and rent this house every summer!!!

We had an amazing week! Our large party of 13, ranging in age from 4 to 76, had such a wonderful time. The home was incredibly clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. Caitie was incredibly responsive whenever we had questions, and it was easy to tell that she truly cared about making sure our family enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed to prepare meals, and having a full bathroom attached to each bedroom was an amazing bonus for our large group! The property itself was so much fun, with two fire pits, a large sandy beach, a water trampoline, and kayaks and canoes to enjoy. With town so close by, it was easy to grab groceries, pick up souvenirs, enjoy dinner out, and even get to our rental boat. The location also puts you close to so many fun Adirondack adventures, while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. In the evenings, we saw millions of stars and listened to the loons on the lake. We even spotted a bald eagle one day! Our only complaint was that we eventually had to leave! The memories our family made here will truly last a lifetime. We’re so grateful for such a special vacation and would absolutely love to come back!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was clean and spacious, comfortably accommodating our large family (and dog). The location is one-of-a-kind, with beautiful views, relaxing outdoor spaces and a private beach with access to the lake. We took advantage of every amenity, including both firepits, the water trampoline, kayaks, outdoor bar, hammock, foosball table and more. The cabin is updated, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials. The host was accommodating, responsive, and made the entire experience easy from check-in to check-out. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an Adirondack lake house retreat. We can't wait to come back!

Caitie + Brandon love the outdoors, lake life + hospitality. We are from Warwick, NY and go up to Schroon Lake as much as we can to enjoy a little more quiet in our lives. We love hosting people no matter where we are + truly care about each and everyones experience in our home!

Why they chose this property

Schroon Lake is crystal clear, surrounded by mountains and natural beauty, and it’s the perfect setting for the kind of life we love—being outside, staying active, and exploring. We’re big on boating in the summer and skiing in the winter, and Schroon is perfectly located for all of it. Owning a lakefront home here was always a dream of ours, and we’re so excited to share it with guests who love the Adirondacks as much as we do.
